The Most Caring of the Hargreeves
October 14th 2006
"Step lively children. We have a mission to do," Hargreeves ordered to his children. "Number One, round up the children."
Luther instantly stepped up into leader action, "Let's go. Get your asses in gear. My man, Diego."
Luther pointed at the boy in front of him who was already in his black turtleneck sweater, with his harness containing his blades in it.
"My ass is always in gear," Diego called out after the blonde boy as he continued walking past to everyone else.
"Come on, guys. Come on."
Luther knocked on the wall and then opened the door into the bathroom where Allison was struggling to get Klaus out of the bathtub.
He had clearly been drinking, even having alcohol already in his hands.
"Are you kidding me, Klaus? You just got back from rehab!" Allison shouted at Klaus.
He slurred his response, "I'm California sober, Allison."
"Come on guys, just hurry up. Dad's waiting," Luther ordered before walking off.
He really should have attempted to help Allison, especially with his super strength he may have been able to lift up the boy a lot easier than she could.
That or they could have gotten their currently blonde haired sister to use her powers to help lift him more than Allison could.
Ben was resting on his bed reading a book, very clearly not wanting to go or just not being bothered, and on the other end of his bed was Lillith who was reading the latest magazine Grace had given her and commenting on the outfits.
"Ben, are we gonna attempt to get ready?" Lillith asked, kicking her feet back and forth.
"Not until Luther threatens us."
Vanya was putting on one of the copies of the masks she had taken from Lillith when they were younger without telling her.
Luther opened the door to the room without knocking.
"Ben? Have you seen Ben?" He asked Vanya who shook her head.
The blonde boy in a frenzy then ran to where Lillith's room was and looked at the two sitting on the bed.
"Why aren't either of you dressed?" Luther asked in annoyance.
"I'm not going," Ben replied.
"I've got a weird feeling about today Luther, I'm not sure what it is," Lillith told him.
She had frequently felt things that just weren't right, but the last time she said it, absolutely nothing went wrong so then no one believed her thinking she just used it as an excuse not to go.
She became the girl who cried wolf.
"But we'll be two men down," Luther almost stammered.
"One man, one woman," Lillith corrected.
Luther then leant his head out of the room, "Dad!"
"Narc," Ben grumbled.
"Snitch," Lillith mumbled, glaring at the taller boy.
Hargreeves walked into the room and looked at the two on the bed, "Number Six! Number Eight! Why aren't you dressed?"
