Xiaotian: "...20 years..."

20 years? What sort of hint was that? Well he guessed it was probably the sort of hint that would possibly mean Xiaotian doesn't get caught by whoever is out there.

Either way he was happy and thankful that the monkey had at least told him this, as small though it was, it could help a lot in the future when he figures it out, and that could lead to either victory or defeat. Also even knowing one thing can be the difference between life and death.

Ne Zha: "Thank you Xiaotian. I'll keep that in mind."

Damnit. Was that the right move? Will LBD find out? What will she do if she does find out? These thoughts ran amuck in his mind as he looked away unable to meet the celestials gaze, as even if this decision saved a lot of people, it could also spell his own demise. It was a risky gamble with his soul and possibly even his life as the betting chip, so he felt happy yet terrified of what might be coming for him.

Why did not knowing what was coming have to be so damn scary?!

Not long after, since there was nothing left to talk about and Ne Zha needed to go figure out the hint Xiaotian gave him, the monkey was left alone in the room with just himself and his thoughts.

His thoughts were terrifying, and he wanted them to stop.

No he needed them to stop as otherwise he'd go crazy again and he's already done that and he certainly doesn't want to do it again, as the first time was just as scary as this one.

So all he could do was wait until whatever happened well... happened as that's all he could do since he had no direct contact to LBD. So maybe he was safe?

It seemed to slip his mind, well technically his mind slipped from him when he passed out in the cave, but it seemed like it finally cam back to him. The key!

His one connection to the demon who currently held a form of power over his soul, and technically his life when he put it like that. Could she kill him even with his immortality? Or if she took his soul from his body would he just be an empty husk?

UGH! Why were these things so difficult?!

For now that doesn't matter, he just needs to take the key out of his shadows and check on it, and if LBD speaks to him, then he can drop it right back in so she can't and will leave him alone.

Opening his shadows he placed his hand in and reached around for it, eventually finding the weird shape of the key within the void and pulling it out holding it in his hand as the portal closed after his arm was out.
