Xiaotian: "Yes. I'm ready, well, ready as I'll ever be."
~
After this they had to get ready, and Xiaotian needed a disguise as him going up to the Celestial guards as a monkey would not only look suspicious, but it would ruin literally everything, so they also needed an alibi.
Turns out they had one even before they realised it.
Macaque and Wukong were going to be released from their prison when the reincarnation of the golden cicada was born, but that wasn't for another 4 or so centuries, so the Celestial Realm needed a way to calm the 2 primates down and 'reform' them so they were easier to control when they were finally let out from their prison.
In other words they needed a powerful monk who could 'change' Sun Wukong and The-Six-Eared-Macaque, so they were less violent, at least in Heavens eyes that was the case.
But it still worked in their favour either way.
Because in other words Xiaotian could easily be or pretend to be this monk so he could talk to his fathers without being disturbed or questioned, and since both prisoners were only violent and trying to escape so they could go home to their cub on Flower Fruit Mountain. So they could make it easier and just bring their cub to them, and it will hopefully calm them down. Especially if they know Xiaotian's okay after that whole Puppet incident.
But even then the 'hopefully' part comes from them finding out what that puppet did whilst Xiaotian was with the creep.
Only part they had to do was teach the child of 2 of the strongest beings in existence to hide his magical presence so he wouldn't be immediately found out. Should be easy right?
Right?
