My POV
I woke up alone. I heard the shower running so I didn't worry. By itself my hand traveled to my stomach. I planned on telling kabuto today, but then sasuke showed up with naruto, and I'd rather tell kabuto alone. And tell everyone else together.
Our child. I thought. I closed my eyes as I relaxed. Kabuto, and me. Parents.
About 20 minutes later I felt Kabuto crawl on the bed. He pulled me close from behind and I could simply tell he was smiling.
"I know." He whispered in my ear. "I saw the test."
I blushed in embarrassment. "I planned to tell you today, but then sasuke and naruto showed up........" I was nervous. I mean so would anyone who found out they were pregnant only a few days ago. Right?
Kabuto put his hand over mine and held it gently. A feeling of worry came over me. Kabuto noticed.
"What are you worried about?" He asked me.
"I wonder.....if our child will be born safe. Not in danger of the rider." I say in a soft voice.
"I'll make sure it will. Even if it means my life, our child will be born safe." Kabuto assured me.
A smile made its form from my lips.
(Okay, just to clarify, the elizabeth character is about 20-21 years old. Kabuto is around 25ish if I'm right and thus making people like Kakashi in their early 30's. No one has been knocked up in their teens! Some may think that everyone is still at around 19 but actually they're older. Just to clear that out of the way. Oh and if you guys can think of some cool names with a cool meaning that would be great. I think that Zethira, Alvrea, and firroth are my best names and I have no more imagination for any! But considering no one is really reading this anyway I'll just look up a bunch of names with meanings.)
