I prepared some breakfast while I waited for kabuto to get dressed. Being in the western hideout reminded me of kabuto's little hideout kisame kinda destroyed. And I remembered something I said to him.
"I had a bet with myself to see if you could get a girl after I took care of him" I had said.
I laughed at myself. He got a girl. Just so happens to be me. I thought. I'd finished making some French toast and put it on a plate. I then felt arms snake around my waist and hands that came to my slim stomach.
"What seemed to have amused you my dear snake?" Kabuto asked me.
"Just something I remember saying." I told him. "Nothing to worry about."
"If you were laughing why would I worry?" Kabuto said as he kissed at my neck.
"You make a valid point." I said as I flipped a piece of egg covered bread. "Even so, its nothing really worth mentioning." I finished, ending the conversation.
I'm not sure why, but kabuto swayed from side to side. And given he had his arms around me I swayed with him. It seemed to me like he was swaying to music, but no music played. I found it cute, but was confused and wanted to know why he was swaying. Human curiosity.
"Kabuto?" I asked as we swayed.
"That song you sang is stuck in my head." He said as an explanation. "What's it called?"
"'A Thousand Years'." I answered. Now it too was stuck in my head. Thanks a lot "twilight". I thought as I more willingly swayed with kabuto. Humming the song but not singing.
