Today was Atharv's PTM and he did not leave the opportunity to flaunt his father to everyone including his classmates, teachers and even security guard.

" You should not fight, son. That's bad," Vidyut said while driving.

" Okay Papa," Atharv replied.

Ragini was amused and flicked the little boy's forehead who was seated on her lap.

" You never agreed this fast to me," she said.

Vidyut and Atharv laughed. They arrived at the amusement park because of Atharv's sudden desire to go there.

Looking around the amusement park, Ragini recalled their stay in Italy. Those were beautiful days. Memories are still fresh in her brain.

She stared at Vidyut taking Atharv to a ride suitable for kids.

Spending a good amount of time there, they drove off to a restaurant in the evening.

" roasted corn?"

Vidyut asked both of them as they had dinner and were going in the direction of their home.

Ragini looked behind and found Atharv sleeping soundlessly on the back seat.

" well he slept-"

" Let me get it for you," Vidyut said and parked the car in a secluded area and got out.

When he was coming back, rain started pouring making him take a run toward their car.

" Here," he handed her roasted corn and ran his fingers into his hair making it messy.

He turned ON the radio and ignited the engine and drove away from there.

Hum-tum kitne,
Paas hai kitne..
Door hain chand-sitare...
Sach pucho to,
Man ko jhuthe lagte hain,
Ye saare....

The car halted at a traffic signal and he turned his gaze at Ragini. She was smiling while eating the roasted corn. He raised his hand toward her mouth and wiped a little corn from the corner of her lips.

She looked at him as he ate that corn.

Magar sache lagte hain,
Ye dharti,
Ye nadaiyan,
Ye raina,
Aur?
Aur tum..

He wiggled his eyebrows at her and she fluttered her eyelashes down. Sometimes silence speaks louder than words.

Their eye-contact broke down when the signal turned green and the horn of cars hit their ear.

He started driving again. Ragini took a deep breath and wrapped the shawl around her more securely.

Reaching home, Vidyut lifted Atharv in arms and put him on the bed. He changed his clothes into comfortable ones and put the pillows around him.
