He brushed the situation off his back, and he hoped that he would remember to tell Alpha Jackson about it later on.he walked into the bathroom and turned the shower on.

As the water touched his water his nerves immediately calmed down. He hadn't been to the house in a week and to top it all he really didn't care, he barely ate anything because he couldn't.

His mind was always wondering if she was going to die and leave him like his mother did when he was young. He had tried countless times and begged her to get up to tell him that she was ok.

He had nightmares of her dying with him unable to stop her death from happening. He stopped sleeping three days ago, all he did was chew his fingers like he was going crazy by every minute that went by.

He walked out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist while using another towel to dry his wet hair as fast as he could. We put the towel in its hanger when it was dried before picking out a pair of black sweatpants and a hoodie, as it was literally freezing outside.

Regardless of the fact that he had a wolf, and it helps them stay warm a bit he still needed a hoodie. He walked out of the house as he put some shoes on. He picked Louisa's keys from her room not wanting to shift into his wolf or walking to the hospital.

He took an apple from the fruit basket before walking outside the house and towards the parking lot. He got into the car, and he reversed and immediately stopped as he realized Cheryl was standing behind the car.

“Have you lost your mind?!” He yelled at her, but she just frowned at him.

“Where are you going?”

“I'm sorry if the Alpha didn't inform you, but your best friend is awake now, how about you be a good person and get in the car or step out of the way before I run you over.”  she continued to look at him before walking towards the passenger's seat.

“She doesn't want to see you.” she said with no trace of emotions on her face.

“That is not stopping me from going there so how about you try lying more or, like I would gladly love, shut up!” He seriously didn't like the fact that she's even here, but she had to deal with not really having a choice here.

She stayed silent while looking outside the window. She didn't want him anywhere around Louisa, but what could he possibly do to stop her?

“Stop the car.” She mind linked her team as she noticed them standing outside.

“Yes ma'am.” he continued to move, and he came to a sudden halt when he realized a wolf in front of the car. Wolves began to surround the car, and he furrowed his eyebrows confused.

“What are you doing?!” He asked as he looked at her, she frowned.

His door suddenly flew open, and she used her leg to kick him out of the car. She immediately shut the door before he could get up, and she drove the car to the way. She took the car back to the house to drop it before going to the hospital through a shortcut.

Miles was confused as to what was going on, and the wolves suddenly left. He knew damn well that Cheryl hated him, but why can't she accept the fact that Louisa was his mate like he accepted her to be her best friend.

He stood up from the ground and dust himself up before walking towards the hospital. He knew it was a long distance, but there was nowhere that he was shifting to anything.

He could feel Louisa's discomfort and pain as she twisted and turned around in her hospital bed while Eric was trying to get everything off her.

Every part of her body hurt so bad though, Alpha Jackson wanted to intervene, but Jordan stopped him and told him to let Eric do what he had to do.

The only person who could reduce her pain right now was miles, and the fact that he still hadn't reached the hospital still bothered them. Jordan mind linked a maid in the house and they informed him that Miles wasn't in the house.

The door suddenly flew open and then Cheryl walked in with a worried expression, and she let out a tear as she saw her best friend struggle. Turns out that Louisa had broken a bone and had stopped healing when Miles seemed to have died, but no one knew about it, and it wasn't treated.

Eric had no idea until two days ago when he decided to do a scan on her. He knew this would happen when she woke up before her body was sniffed when they repaired what was broken.

He took the plastic away, and she let out a bloody scream that caused her nothing but pain. Eric immediately let go as he let out a sigh of relief.

“It's ok, everything is off, and you'll be fine” He told her as she cried.

“Where's Miles?” She asked, feeling the urge to just be with him.

“He will be here soon.” Alpha Jackson informed her, and he asked his son to find him through the mind link.

Jordan walked out of the room as though he wanted to take some water for Blakely, but within seconds he was out of the room and running towards the house.

Jordan continued to run towards the house, but he immediately stood when he saw Miles standing in a position looking like he was about to fall down.

He was completely covered in blood and before Jordan could get to him, he dropped on the floor tiredly, but luckily, he didn't pass out. Jordan didn't understand why five wolves were dead, and he was bloody, but right now was not the time for questions.

He took him back to the house and gave him something to drink so he could regain his strength, which he did instantly when he looked around, and he realized that it was Jordan, and he was back at the house.

He got up to his feet while Jordan watched him weirdly. He looked at how bloody he was then he turned towards the stairs to take a quick shower for he remembered that he was meant to meet Louisa.

“I'll be right back,” Jordan said before walking towards his room.

Jordan walked to the kitchen and picked the keys of his car off the counter before waiting for him patiently.
