A week passed by like a breeze and Louisa was yet to wake up from her coma. Miles was worried as hell to the point that she is all he could think of throughout the day.

Alpha Jackson tried to take his mind off so many things by telling him to do one thing or the other, but he couldn't succeed in doing that. Miles suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder.

“Sister, can I be left alone, please?” He asked her not to bother to raise his head from the bedside.

“You really want to stay away from me?” She asked, and he immediately raised his head up to see Louisa looking at him with a weak smile on her face.

“Oh goddess!” He immediately hugged her as tears filled his eyes, but they were tears of joy.

He never thought he could be this broken because of a woman, and now he realized her value in his life, and he never wants to let go of her no matter what.

“It hurts.” he heard him say, and he immediately backed away to see what she was talking about.

“What hurt? Is it your hands? Let me get to the doctor Immediately I'll be…" She held his hand as he was about to leave, which made him unable to complete his sentence.

“Relax Miles, you were squeezing so much.” she said quietly, and he walked back to his position.

“You have no idea how happy I am right now.” She let out a laugh and immediately began to cough out.

He.reach for. The glass of water and put the glass in-between her lips while using either hand to support her head as she drank the water to calm down.

“I heard you the entire time.” he furrowed his eyebrows, confused.

“What do you mean?”

“Crying all night, begging me to wake up, arguing with Jordan and patching up with him, Cheryl coming to everything, Rich playing around with Sophie and dad…” She trailed off, remembering her father's cry.

“It scared everyone. Eric wasn't sure if you were gonna ever wake up, and could die at any moment.” he brushed her hair away from her face.

“You died and came back to life after a week. I was already losing my mind seeing you dead, and then you came to life. Of course, I would be shocked.”

“I still don't understand how you guys handled that, how that even happened in the first place, but right now, I have to get Eric to check on you and I need to get your brother and father, but may I ask you something?”

“Sure.”

“What took you to the cliff that late?”

"We will talk about that when I'm out of here, I promise. I'm so uncomfortable, to tell Eric to come and get me out if these things''

“Ok.” he kissed her forehead before walking out of the room and heading towards Eric's office.

To say he was happy was an understatement. He had been waiting for this moment for.a very long time and hearing her voice, seeing her smile was just joy to his heart.

He was about to open the door when Eric opened the door, and he immediately put his hand on the door and Eric became confused as to why he was here in the first place.

“What happened? Did anything change there?” He asked, talking about Louisa.

“She's awake and very uncomfortable because of all the connections to her.” He explained, and Eric let out a smile with a sigh of relief.

He Immediately walked towards the room to check on her. He opened the door, and he realized how pale she had become, but it was such a relief that she finally awakened.

Miles closed the door and walked out of the door. He needed to find all of them, including Cheryl, even if he didn't want to, but he knew damn well that she wanted to see her best friend so badly.

He walked towards the training section but was Jordan or Cheryl there, which was strange because at least one of them is always there. He immediately shifted into his wolf and ran towards the house.

It was quite far, but his wolf's speed was helping him a lot in this situation. He ran and ran, but then he immediately stood when he noticed something very strange at the wall which was clearly the borders of the pack.

He looked at it closely and realized that there was a door handle on the wall, which was weird, but his curiosity as to what a door handle was doing on the wall disturbed him so badly.

He walked towards the door carefully and quietly. He changed one of his purrs to his hand and reached for the handle and that's when he realized that it was a door on the wall that led to outside the pack, which only meant this was the entrance the rogues were using.

It was almost as though it were a wall if he didn't see the door handle, which was not really visible as everything was the same color. He closed the door and locked the door before blocking it with something.

He ran to the house and saw Alpha Jackson sitting down reading something. He shifts back to human form before walking into the house.

“Alpha…" He called out and Alpha Jackson immediately cut him off.

“,Well I'm glad you finally decided to come home, you should get something to eat and freshen up.”

“But…"

“Go kid, Luisa certainly doesn't want to see you like this when she wakes up, so go and freshen up and eat something.”

“I'm just coming from the hospital because she's awake. I can't reach any of you because I still can't mind link" Alpha Jackson immediately raised his head from the book that was keeping his kind of everything and looked at him.

“You aren't joking, are you?” He asked.

“I'm not, she's really awake.” He let out a smile followed by a sigh of relief.

“You need to freshen up and then come to the hospital. I'll tell the rest of them but get yourself into a good shape.” Alpha Jackson immediately ran out, not waiting for his response and Miles knew too well that he didn't dare go against his orders.

He walked upstairs while catching his breath from him running, but his mind wandered back to the door which he had seen. He wanted to believe that someone in the pack had done that, but how did no one notice that since it was strange about that position.

No one was really there during the day, only at night when patrol was done, so how did no one see it?
