Miles opened his eyes as the door slowly opened, and he saw Louisa standing there looking at him. He sat up and turned the lights on before putting his hand out for her.

“What happened? It's so early in the morning aren't you meant to be sleeping?” She sat down on his legs and just curled herself up in his arms.

She didn't say a word, but he understood why she was acting this way. He laid on the bed and put her next to him. He was not going to ask her what the nightmare was all about; he could already feel how restless she was.

“It's ok, I got you.” he whispered, and she began to cry. He knew that it was something very bad that happened, and it was a normal thing between them.

They were meant to sleep in his room together but after the conversation with her father last night she immediately went to bed without telling him anything.

She was certainly upset because she had shut the door on his face when he tried to talk to her. Alpha Jackson asked him to let her be, which he did and this is what it resulted to.

He continued to pet her until she silently fell asleep. He put the cover over her and got off the bed, he had already woken up there was no way that he was going to go back to sleep.

He walked to the bathroom to take a bath, and he decided to sit down in a chair underneath the shower for no reason at all. He felt calm and wanted nothing to interrupt him, but then he remembered that he was officially going to be accepted into the pack at night.

He shook his head not wanting to put pressure on himself, and he stood up before putting the chair away and bathing himself properly. He put a towel around his waist and another on his hair.

Walking out of the bathroom he noticed how she was sleeping peacefully then something popped into his mind. Now that she was asleep, him cooking breakfast might just be a little surprise for her.

He refused the towel from his head and used a dryer to dry his hair before going into the closet to wear some clothes. He walked dressed in knee-length trousers and a shirt with his hair flying over everywhere.

He used a scrunchy and held it before walking out gently hoping he wouldn't wake her up. Miles didn't care about the fact that his hair was growing fast and needed trimming. He prefers it growing like, and he barely combs it which is a bit bad and causing knots he refused to comb out.

He took an apron from its hanger before opening the fridge to get some eggs. He got a bowl. and opened the cabinet for some spices and other things he needed. With a headphone up and music booming in his ears, he began to cook while dancing.

Two maids wanted to get into the kitchen to cook breakfast then they saw him dancing and cooking at the same time, looking at how happy he was for the first time they gently backed away from the door and went to do other work around the house.

Though they had their eyes on him in case he burns anything, they didn't really know whether he could cook or not, but after Jordan almost burnt down the house in his attempt to cook something for his pregnant wife they suspect any male that tries to cook anything except the Alpha who was a very good cook.

Alpha Jackson noticed what they were doing and turned to look at the kitchen which made him very confused and that's when he heard Miles singing. He let out a laugh when he realized what he was doing in the kitchen but didn't want to disturb him, he just left to do what he wanted to.

Miles perceived the aroma of the food, and he let out a grin, he missed cooking so much. His stepmother back at home ignores him all the time even when she was cooking, and it gave him the opportunity to learn how to cook from the maids of the house.

At some point, he cooked a lot if weird things which surprisingly tastes good and he will eat with the maids which he had grown fond of a lot. He wished that he could spend little time with his father, but just like always he was ignored.

He set a bowl of soup on the center table in the kitchen just like he did with the remaining food he had cooked. It was as if he were cooking for a feast, but the truth was he was including everyone in the house.

Sophie walked down the stairs and the aroma of different dishes caught her nostril which made her confused if she could clearly see the maids in the sitting room and someone else in the kitchen moving around.

“Who is in the kitchen?” She asked of the maids.

“Ma'am's mate.”

“Miles?”

“Yes.”

“Thank you” she walked to the kitchen, and she was stunned by how much food he had cooked.

"Are you cooking for a feast? I am tempted to… Ouch'' he hit her hand with a spatula as she tried to pick a piece of bacon.

“Go away, this is my kitchen for today, so go, wait! Can you do me a favor?”

“Do I get bacon?”

“Till it's time for breakfast sister, so how about you set the table and the maids will take the food there.”

“Fine!”

“And yes!! Everyone is sitting at the table today, including the maids, servants and whoever works here.”

“So I'm setting the two tables?”

“Of course my sister now runs along, and please do bring Blakely down for breakfast. You are starving the little child and I know she would long to stay with her uncle.” Sophie let out a laugh with his facial expressions.

“Ok fine I'll bring her downstairs.”

“That's more like it now runs along and if you happen to see your husband tell him to help you ok?”

“I heard you Miles.” He returned to what he was doing and as soon as he was done the maids were allowed to take the food to the dining table.

He walked out of the kitchen and saw Louisa walking down the stairs, and he immediately stood her.

“Hold on young woman, no breakfast looking like you got kicked out of a hair salon” she let out a pout.

“Oh come on!”

"I'm serious, go back."
