Walking towards the forest in the dead of the night, she saw just the person she was looking for and let out a smile, she gave him a kiss for she felt happy seeing him after such a long time.

“It's good to finally get to meet you.” a tear dropped from the corner of her eyes and he immediately wiped it away for her.

“Come on baby don't cry, I'm here right you don't need to worry about anything, come on tell me about everything, are they troubling you?” He asked as he wrapped his arms around her body.

“Some of them are but like I promised I will end them all even if it's the last thing I do.”

“That's my baby girl, I know you would have loved to stay for as long as we can, but you really needed to go back before anyone suspects anything.”

“Do you really have to leave?” She asked silently as she felt tears in her eyes.

“You know I have to but don't worry, when all this is over you can have me to yourself for as long as you want, I promise.”  she nodded and slowly backed away from him.

“Goodbye.” she whispered, and she watched as he ran through the woods and soon enough he was out of sight.

She felt as though she would break into pieces, but she knew damn well that she couldn't do that right now, it was too early for it to be breaking down.

She ran as fast as she could back to the pack, and she opened the door before walking out. She washed her face and walked towards the house.

It was extremely dark, and she knew everyone was looking for her, she came to a halt as she saw Miles with a worried expression on his face.

“Jeez! Louisa didn't disappear like that, I was talking to you minutes ago, and then you disappeared, are you ok?”

“Yeah I just went to the garden, sorry for making you worried like that.”

“Why do you smell like strawberries?” He sniffed her more and she picked out strawberries from her pocket.

“That's what I went to the garden to find, I couldn't find some in the fridge, so I came to take them myself.”

“You are such a lover of these things. How are you… Ok, no.” he threw it out of his mouth as the taste hit him bad, and he began to cough out "… Remind to never take thing from your hand when I see them, especially strawberries.'' she let out a laugh as she gave him a glass of water.

“It's not my fault that everything you see in my hand seems eatable to you, I still wonder how you thought a marble was a berry.”

“You painted it that way and let me put your hand in my mouth” She laughed at his facial expression.

“Just admit it, anything you see with me makes you want to take it. Perhaps the moon goddess made a mistake by making you a man, you literally steal everything from my plate or hand when yours is with you, that's a woman's thing to do.”

“Excuse me? Girl! I have spent about five months with you and then this is what you turned me into.” he mimicked Cheryl, which made her laugh so bad.

“Haha very funny, can I steal my best friend now?” Cheryl said as she walked towards Louisa.

“Do not leave the house.” he warned, and Cheryl looked at him like he was crazy.

“Since when did you decide that it's your position to tell us what to do or where to be?”

“Cheryl, I am not ordering your guy, it's just…"

“Of course ordering…"

“Cheryl come upstairs” Alpha Jackson ordered from upstairs through the mind link and she shut her eyes before letting go of Louisa's hands.

Louisa looked up to see her father looking at them, and she let out a sigh knowing what is about to happen right now. She took Miles' hands, and they walked into the house.

As they got to the hallway, Louisa watched as Cheryl walked into the office and Miles put his hands around her shoulder with the hope of calming her nerves down.

Alpha Jackson turned from the balcony of the office and walked into the room before closing the door, and Cheryl dropped her head in submission to her Alpha.

“What is wrong with you, Cheryl? Miles is trying everything to tolerate you because of Louisa, and you are doing the complete opposite.”

“He tried to order us.”

“I told him to, I would have my daughter walking around at the dead of night, especially after what happened, and you know that too well. Why aren't you home yet?”

“I just wanted to speak to her a bit.”

“There is a reason why you have a phone and why you have mind link, Cheryl, so how about you tell the truth?” he crossed his arms.

“I just wanted to spend more time with her, nothing more.”

“Cheryl I get that you are a warrior, but I don't want you out of the house by nine if you aren't on patrol. You know damn well what I can do you Cheryl and I have been ignoring your troubles due to Louisa, the cliff is a very dangerous at night you know she could have died if Miles wasn't there what were you thinking Cheryl?!” He yelled and shivers ran down her spine.

“I'm sorry, sorry Alpha, I promise never to go anything again, please do spare me.”

“One last chance Cheryl or you will be off your rank.” He knew how much the rank meant to her and with a snap of finger he could take it off her.

“Please do not do that Alpha I promise to change.”

“Good night Cheryl, head straight home your mother is worried and thinks you're missing.” She immediately left the room and wiped the tears off her cheeks so that Louisa wouldn't see it.

He watched as she left the house from the balcony and headed towards the house. He had taken responsibility for her family ever since he was forced to execute her father, and he really did all he could to suit them but ever since Miles arrived she started acting weird which he certainly didn't feel comfortable with.

A knock on the door caught his attention and he answered before Louisa walked in with a frown on her face, and he let out a sigh.

“What did you do dad?”

“I sent her home, now sit down.” he pointed towards the chair.
