Cheryl made her way out of the room and walked towards the wood where some of her friends were quietly waiting for her.

“I told you guys to go home didn't I?” She said and they turned to look at her.

“We would have done that if we were able to get the target. I understand that you love your best friend so much, but you are a warrior and this is a situation to protect the pack, the mole is around here somewhere, and we need to find whoever it is.”

“Everyone is stressed right Liam, we will complete this mission some other day but as of now everyone is tense and things should be laid low I don't want any trouble understanding?”

“Yes ma'am.”

“Now go from here?” She handed him some money for his family which she owed him.

“Thank you.”

“I'll call you when we need to continue the mission but as of now just stay low.”

“We completely understand ma'am.” they ran off in wolf form, and she let out a sigh.

She was sick of her team not being able to find the real mastermind behind the execution of her best friend and her mate, but she knew damn well she was going to catch whoever did it.

There's no way that rogues got into the pack without anyone knowing about it and according to suspicions, the person was close to either Miles or Louisa.

Miles hated everyone in the pack and Louisa loved everyone who was very difficult to do. She shook her head and walked towards the hospital where she has been for the past three days.

As she got to the hospital she saw Miles and Jordan walking around the hospital just like Alpha Jackson suggested last night. Jordan was going really soft on him, and she didn't like the fact that they were becoming friends due to what happened.

“Hey Cheryl” Jordan said and Miles looked towards her strangely but didn't say a word.

“Hi, has she woken up?” She asked with a worried expression.

“Not yet but I'm sure if she wakes up we will know about it.” she nods and walked away.

Miles looked up from his nails as Jordan tapped him before they continued their journey down the hallway.

“Why don't you like Cheryl?” Jordan asked out of the blue, and he looked at him.

“I don't like anyone.”

“That's not what I mean, you are a bit close to us as Louisa's family and yeah, I agree we fought a lot before, but you never got along with Cheryl in any way and even now, I could tell the tension between you both without saying a single thing.”

“I guess some people are just destined to not like.one another and that's the case here. When I came here, I didn't like her, and unfortunately, I still don't like her”

“Well perhaps time will tell the story between you both but did you see this woman you were talking about?” He asked changing the topic completely.

“I didn't, the lights were took much, and before I knew it, I was awake in the coffin.”

“She felt the bond between you guys break and well it was a terrible situation. But do you have any idea as to what took Louisa to the cliff in the first place.”

“I had no idea, I saw her from the room's balcony leaving the house at the dead of night, I wondered where she was going and as much as I trust her to go anywhere on her own certainly not in the dead of night.”

“I wouldn't.have let myself.”

“Someone called.her there, but I didn't know who, but whoever it was didn't even get there. As a matter of fact, the moment she got there the wolves came out of nowhere.”

“That meant she was targeted, someone in the pack wants to be dead but why? I mean Louisa is the sweetest thing I know not because she's my sister or anything, but she's really sweet and loving”

“I know that. Perhaps we will get more information from her when she wakes up.”

“I do hope so, she hasn't said anything since she asked us to leave her alone with you or rather your body.” Jordan opened the door, and he walked in to see Blakely pulling the wires that was connected to Louisa.

“Blakely!” Jordan immediately grabbed her and slowly removed the wire from her hand and Sophie woke up from her sleep.

“Oh goodness! I'm so sorry.” Sophie apologized, and she tried to take Blakely way from Jordan, but Miles pulled her hand.

“You haven't slept in since I woke up even when everyone is sleeping sisters. Don't pin the blame on Blakely because I watch you when you rock back and forth looking at nothing. What happened?”

“She's anxious, she feels like something is going to happen trust me I have tried to put her to bed myself, but she can't.” Jordan said in a worried expression and Miles looked at her.

“Come on go and continue sleeping… Jordan and Blakely will do something outside. I'm taking a nap you can as well join me in that.”

“But I don't want…"

“No buts or ifs Sophie take a nap we will be fine I promise.” Jordan kissed her forehead and took her hand before walking towards the couch where she laid.

Miles sat on the bed as he watched Jordan make her lay down and put the blanket over her. He walked outside with the baby in his arms playing with his hair which made Miles laugh, but his laughter immediately died down as he looked over to Louisa.

He missed he wasn't gonna lie, and he wished he could have her in his arms right now, but he knew too well that he couldn't do that, patience is what he had to have in this situation.

He looked over to Sophie to see. her sleeping like a baby which made him let out a sigh. He loved the fact that they were both sound as sleep, but he hoped one of them wakes up soon.

The door flew open, and Alpha Jackson walked in with a smile and Miles looked at him.

“How are you feeling kid?” He asked as he sat in a chair in-between miles and Louisa.

“I'm good, a bit of headache, but I'm fine, and you need not worry about a thing. Louisa is going to wake up soon, you just need to trust her.”

“I do trust her, it's just difficult watching her in this situation.”

"She'll be fine, don't worry."
