An alarm rang through the room, from the bed, Ramiel groaned as he sat up and stretched his two main wings. He turned off the alarm and saw his fiancée, Charlie still sleeping peacefully. With a smile he got up and slowly cleaned the pile of hastily discarded clothes from the previous night. It had been a few months since Skoll and his sister moved into the hotel, Hati was dealing with her own turbulent romantic life, a quickly growing music career, and the aftermath of a stalker incident. She had come a long way since Skoll found her, she was still anxious at times but she was much more confident and her stutter was mostly gone. As for Skoll, his fight with Ulfbjorn Fenris had just ended but the Hellhound seemed despondent. He ate less and his mood was sullen. It was obvious the revelation about Clan Fenris Hellhound genocide had affected him deeply. While the Fallen Angel was getting ready for the day, Charlie woke up and wrapped her arms around him, burying her face into his chest.
"Today's the day." she squealed, her voice muffled.
"Good morning. Are you ready?"
"I can't wait! Soon we'll be married!"
The two looked at each other and kissed sweetly before continuing with their morning. Ramiel had gone clean shaven once more, as he began thinking his beard made him look significantly older than Charlie. Once they got to the lobby they found Lucifer running around, giving everyone orders.
"Hurry up! We've got to reach the venue in three hours to get everything ready!" he shouted. "Do all the sinners have their special visas to enter Gluttony?"
All the hotel staff and residents, save Vaggie and the Hellhounds, raised bracelets given to them by Lucifer that would allow for access to other rings of Hell. The King nodded and checked something off his list. He looked up the stairs and smiled at the couple before jogging over to them.
"There they are! You two excited!?" he asked, hugging his daughter and soon to be son-in-law.
"Yes dad, we can't wait any longer. Thanks for all your help."
"Of course anything for my little girl's b–b–" he began sobbing and hugging the two tighter. "Oh, I'm so happy for you!" he cried.
Skoll and Hati saw the scene and chuckled a bit before walking off, Skoll tried to hide his feelings but the regret and pain in his eyes was obvious. Ramiel saw this and slowly moved away from Lucifer.
"You help your father. I'll check on the others."
"Ok, me and the girls will be leaving first so I'll see you at the ceremony. I love you."
"I love you too." Ramiel replied, kissing his fiancée once more.
He made his way past the busy staff members, who all congratulated him and patted him on the back. Raiden and Zeus were with Hati, playing with the brown and white Hellhound. Unable to find Skoll, Ramiel went to his adopted daughter instead.
"Hey Hati, are you ready for tonight?"
"Hey dad, I should be asking you that question. Are you ready for your wedding?" she asked with a smile.
"I've waited close to a year for this, I'm as ready as I'll ever be." he smiled back and hugged his daughter. "Thank you for agreeing to perform at the reception. And send my regards to Verosika as well in case I don't get the chance to thank her in person."
The brown and white Hellhound hugged back. "It's our pleasure... Hey, is Skoll ok? He's been different recently. I know what happened and... even I feel horrible knowing I'm related to people like that but... I can tell it's hurting him more."
"I know," Ramiel said, breaking the hug. "Where is he?"
"In the back room, I think. I'm worried about him. He's... distant and he hasn't talked about what he found out two weeks ago."
