"Yo- Toms!"
All 'popular' or 'rich' kids sit at one table, the table being filled with about 6 people on each side.
"What's up?" Tommy, one of the richest among all of them, asks with a smile.
A smile that was forced.
He hated all of these self-entitled ass bitches with all his heart, there was barely any room for love for them, actually.
Except one.
"I bet.." Jordan, the person who had gotten his attention originally, then looks up at the ceiling as if he was thinking of something in that empty head of his.
"I bet.. 100 dollars if you fake 'date' one of the art geeks." Jordan finally said after a couple of seconds.
Dann, that was brutal.
"No. That's just called being a dick." Tommy returned with a scoff.
"Awh! Cmon! 200?" Jordan offered.
"No." Tommy says sternly.
"Fine. 500 dollars." One of the other kids spoke up.
Jay, the most terrible of them all, was the one who offered 500 dollars.
"That's.." Tommy's voice trailed off, actually considering it, "That's a lot of money.."
"So is it a deal?" Jay smirks as he looks at Tommy, who was thinking carefully.
School was boring.
Eh, why not?
"That depends, which art geek?" Tommy asks as he stares at the table full of them.
Some of them weren't that bad, but the ones who weren't were terrible.
Oily hair, Tommy bet if you stood in a one foot radius you would get lice.
They smelt bad, and they probably never even seen a stick of deodorant in their life.
They also wore skinny jeans constantly, and none of them could pull them off.
But, thankfully, that was only close to half of the people.
"You know what? " Jay chuckles, "I'll make it easy for ya. But, I have a couple of rules."
Tommy nods, listening to Jay carefully.
"You can only break up with them after.." Jay searches his mind, "Let's say 6 months because I wanna make my money's worth. And you actually have to pretend you like being with them, like buying flowers and taking them on dates. And, in my final condition, you have to go to all of their art shows."
6 months for 500 dollars.
But then leading them on is worse..
"Raise it up to 600, and I'll do it." Tommy shot back with a sigh.
Jay grinned, "You got it."
"Ooh!" Molly, the most tolerable and the only one Tommy actually liked in that table chimed in, "Who is it? If they're cool, can I ask for some art supplies?"
"Why didn't you join art club?" Jordan snickered.
"Because that's social suicide." Molly scoffed, "Now shut the fuck up, buzz cut."
Jordan's buzz cut in 8th grade was not it.
"That was like- 4 years ago!" Jordan says in defense.
"Yeah, yeah.." Jay muttered with a laugh, "Let's do.."
Jay scans the table, looking at his 'victims'.
"Let's do Ranboo Ender. They aren't exactly a weirdo.. He's just a little.. Odd."
"Ranboo?!" Tommy says with shock, "You mean the one who could actually fall in love with me?!"
"Don't flatter yourself, you're bisexual." Molly said with a small laugh.
"Do you want the 600 dollars or not?" Jay grinned.
Tommy looks at Ranboo.
Blonde hair that wasn't greasy actually looked quite soft, a Garfield shirt under a grey baggy jacket, jeans with Garfield at the bottom, and a black mask.
"But he has like.." Tommy said as he continued staring, "A Garfield obsession.."
"So? Get over there!" Jordan snickered.
Tommy sighed before getting up and walking over to the table.
There, he was met with about 12 kids.
The insufferable ones sat on one side, while the others sat on the other.
Tommy sits next to Ranboo, pushing them a little to the side so Tommy can sit right next to them.
He was practically breathing on Ranboo's neck as he wrapped an arm around them.
"Hey." Tommy says in his 'flirty' voice.
"Hey.." Ranboo returned, their mask making it hard to tell if they were disgusted or flustered.
"I'll cut to the chase since a gorgeous person like you don't deserve the wait. You got a boyfriend?" Tommy asks with a small smile.
"No, and I'm not looking for one." Ranboo returned as he pushed Tommy's arm off of them.
"Awh~ and why not?" Tommy questioned, his confidence not wearing off.
He was gonna bag this garfield-loving man no matter what.
"Do you want me to be honest?" Ranboo asks, sympathy filling their voice.
"Uhm.." Tommy muttered with confusion, "Yes..?"
Ranboo then took out some altoids from their pocket.
Mint altoids specifically.
"You need one." Ranboo added.
Tommy has never gotten humbled that fast in his entire life.
It also comes to Tommy that he also drank some coffee earlier today and forgot to chew some gum.
"Uhm.." Tommy managed to say through embarrassment, "Thanks for looking out for me.."
Tommy takes more than 2 and stuffs them in his mouth.
"But, seriously, can I get your number?" Tommy managed to get out after all the mints dissolved in his mouth.
"Uh.." Ranboo thinks about it for a hot minute, "Maybe.. Meet me after school and I might give it to you."
