The next morning, I suggested to Jamie that we go to the nearby park to try to find a private place. Around lunch time, we went. "Where should we start?" Jamie asked. "I don't know," I replied. We started walking on the path and glancing around. Eventually we found a spot where the sparse trees morphed into a forest. There were signs saying, 'Proceed at your own risk'. Thankfully, there wasn't anyone else around. "Shall we?" I asked Jamie. She nodded. We had brought plenty of paper, a clipboard, and pencils. Jamie, being artistic, said that she would draw a map so we didn't get lost and would be able to find the place again. "I really hope we find a good spot," I said. Jamie nodded. "An innocent seeming place, in case anybody else finds it." I added, "Perhaps loud too." We slowly walked for about an hour, Jamie drawing a detailed map as we went. At one point, Jamie stopped in her tracks. "Do you hear that?" I held still and listened for a moment. "Yes.. a rumbling sound. Let's follow it." Jamie agreed. It took roughly another half hour to reach the source of the rumbling. We both stood in awe. There was a fairly small, but magnificent waterfall. There was a small lake at the bottom. "It looks shallow," I said. "We should wade across." We had both brought an extra set of clothes and shoes. We both walked forward. "It's loud," I said with a chuckle as we swam closer to the waterfall. We stood right in front of the rushing water. "Do you think there is anything on the other side?" Jamie asked. I shrugged. "Only one way to find out." I plunged through the water. Jamie and I were once more shocked by what we saw. There was a small cave made of stone. "Oh, this is perfect!" I said. Jamie grinned. "Only one problem; we can't be getting wet all the time." I smirked. "Well technically I can." Jamie rolled her eyes. "You have water powers. Amelia, Lilly, and I..." I nodded. "I see your point." We both thought for a moment. "It would be risky, but I could use my magic to part the water to allow us all through." Jamie shrugged. "The chances of other people finding this place are low. It should work." I nodded, satisfied. "The next question is when are we going to invite Lilly and Amelia here?" Jamie considered. "Maybe tonight? We could invite them over to talk about it." I nodded. "I agree. You can make another copy of the map for them." We left the cave. We hid behind some trees to change, then went back to our dorm. I texted the group chat with Lilly and Amelia while Jamie copied the map.

Me: Do you guys want to come over to our dorm in a bit?

Lilly: Sure!

Amelia: That sounds good.

Me: 3:00?

Lilly: Yep.

Jamie had just finished hiding the maps when Amelia and Lilly arrived. "Hey guys!" Lilly greeted when I opened the door. "Hey. Jamie and I wanted to talk to you about something." Amelia looked slightly guarded. "Oh?" Jamie nodded. "We should sit down." Once we were all sitting, I took a deep breath. "Jamie and I have been thinking about this for a while, so please be honest. Do you two have magic?" They were shocked into silence for a moment. Lilly looked slightly scared. Slowly, they both started to nod. Jamie and I grinned at each other. "This is wonderful! We do too," Jamie said excitedly. I nodded. "Let's wait to even say what our magic is. We understand if you are hesitant to believe us." Jamie grabbed the maps and handed one to Amelia. "That map leads to a waterfall. Meet us there at 7:30 and we will give you a demonstration. It should take you a bit more than an hour to walk there. That should give you plenty of time to think about this." I continued, "We will go now and wait for you. Do not feel pressured to come. If you want, you can stay here to talk it over." Lilly and Amelia's eyes were wide. "Okay," Lilly whispered, "we will think about it." Jamie and I left.
