Once I finally finished with my homework, I texted Jeff. Ella came in moments later. "Are you done?" She asked. I rolled my eyes and replied, "Yes. Are you happy now?" She chuckled. "As long as you don't fail your classes, yes. Come on. We're going to get ready now." It was beginning to get colder, so I threw on my long red coat that I loved so much. The two of us went out to the front of the campus and met up with Liam, Jeff, and Jake. We greeted each other then got into Liam's car because his could fit the most people. I could tell Liam was a very extroverted person immediately. "Where do you guys want to go?" He asked. "I really love the place farther downtown. It's fancy." Ella shrugged. "I don't really care. Is everyone else fine with that?" We all nodded. Liam grinned. "Great."

We sat down at the dinner table together. I had to admit it was nice. They even had a chandelier over our table. I leaned forward. "So, Liam. About your friends- are they the type to turn on you the second you do something they don't like? Or are they decent human beings?" I questioned. Liam shrugged. "They were the popular kids in high school, so yeah, they were like that. But they've probably matured... slightly, overtime," he explained. "Maybe they'll respect wanting to sleep." Jake sighed. "I mean, they did cheat on their entrance exams." When he got a look, he added, "Not to discourage anyone." Which helped a lot. I rolled my eyes. "Guys, let's focus on something better." Liam smiled. "Hey, at least you guys seem to be more mature than them." Ella chuckled and elbowed me. "Depends." I couldn't help laughing. "Just to warn you, it's possible that she could burn the whole school down accidentally." I laughed more. "Yeah. Probably," I agreed. Jake grinned. "She almost got banned from having sleepovers at my house when we were kids. She was trying to stick her hand inside of an oven." I chuckled nervously, remembering that. Ella and I were only just starting to develop our powers. I wasn't thinking straight. I could barely control my powers at all. "Hey," Jeff said, shrugging nonchalantly. "Pyromaniacs are fun." I grinned. Little did he know, I was actually able to create fire with my own hands. I missed being able to use my powers. At home, we had at least a little bit of safety, though even there we couldn't use them often. Liam's words jerked me out of my thoughts. "I'm not sure how much more chaos I can deal with, though," he joked. I smiled. "Don't worry. I'll try not to destroy anything when I'm around you." We all laughed. Soon enough, we got our orders taken and ate food. We left the building laughing and having a great time. "Alright, we have to do this more often," I said. "Hey. Tomorrow is Saturday, so we could do something," Jeff reminded me. "Good idea." Ella paused. "Would you mind if we brought two of our other friends? Amelia and Lilly. I'm not sure if you know them," she asked. Liam shrugged. "Sure, why not." She smiled. "Thank you." We got into the car and drove back to campus.

At the dorm, I decided on mentioning my idea to Ella. "So, I was thinking about something..." I paused to sit down on my bed. Ella raised an eyebrow. "Yeah?" I shrugged as if it was nothing. "Well, I thought that we could try making a group of hybrids set to making ourselves... you know, legal?" I explained. Ella's eyes went wide. "Jamie," She breathed. "That would be extremely dangerous. Especially for two college students. How would we even get other hybrids to join?" I flinched. "I know it seems stupid, but if we don't do it, who will?" I tried to convince her desperately, but she shook her head. "No. Definitely not." I bit my lip. "Ella. Someone has to do it. Please," I begged. "No!" Ella snapped, and I went silent. "No."
