On Saturday morning, I met Jake in the food court. He looked around in confusion. "Where's Ella?" He asked. I laughed. "She wanted to sleep in. College is a lot, though I've got to say I'm an early riser." Jake grinned. "I know, Jamie. Did you think I've forgotten about all the sleepovers where you would wake up at five and try to get me and Ella up?" I rolled my eyes. "Oh, believe me, I was up much earlier than that. I just wanted you guys to hurry up- I barely slept at all as a child. I was extremely hyper." We both laughed. "You and Ella are so different," Jake muttered. "It's a little crazy." We often get that, I thought. Jake knows better than anyone else, though, the things we have in common. "Jamie!" I pushed my thoughts aside when I heard Lilly's voice from behind me. She, Amelia, and the rest of our friends were behind her. Liam wasn't there. He had probably already left to get food, before I met with Jake. Lilly was smiling. "Hey," I greeted. "Ella's still asleep, just so you know." Amelia nodded. "I wanted to stay in bed this morning, if I'm being honest," she muttered, a small smile appearing. "But I talked you out of it," Lilly added, elbowing her and smirking. Amelia chuckled. "Yeah, as kind as she looks, she does not accept sleeping in too late." At that Lilly laughed. Thomas grinned. "I bet Ella's like that too, isn't she? Though she isn't very kind, at least to me." I grinned. "It's because she doesn't want to admit that she likes you." I paused, then added, "Don't tell her I said that." Thomas nodded. "Of course I won't. I've seen how she is when she's angry first hand." Chris, who was standing next to him, sighed. "Thomas, don't be rude." Thomas shrugged. "Hey, I'm not being mean. It's just the truth." A voice spoke from behind him, making his eyes go wide. "Just the truth, huh?" Ella said, pushing past him and towards me. "Oh. Hi Bella," Thomas said, smiling sheepishly. My sister simply rolled her eyes and moved to stand next to me and Jake. "What is it with calling her Bella?" Jake asked. Ella shot a glare at him. "He's just annoying," she snapped. He raised an eyebrow, but didn't respond. "...Well, I think we should eat breakfast," I said, attempting to change the subject. Everyone murmured, seemingly agreeing with that. I fell back to where Jeff was standing. He smiled at me and we greeted each other. I was about to speak again when Christopher gestured for me to go over to him. "I'll be right back," I said. Jeff narrowed his eyes, but nodded. I walked over to him. Christopher leaned closer to me and whispered, "Just so you know, Thomas is absolutely in love with your sister. He won't stop talking about her, so don't worry about him being... you know..." I nodded, smirking. I thought about how protective Ella was of me. Jeff is a good person. She was being stupid. I let her date who she wanted. "That sounds about right. She's been the same way, even if she won't admit it," I joked, pushing my annoyance with my sister aside. Chris broke out into a smile. "We probably look like we're plotting something," he said. I grinned and added, "We should." He chuckled. "Thomas would either be very thankful, or refuse to talk to me for the rest of the day, depending on what happens." I shrugged. "For me, it would just be the second one. But if it gets them together..." my voice trailed off. Chris nodded, then paused, chuckling softly. "I think that's enough evil schemes for today." I moved back. "Yeah. They're staring," I muttered. Especially Jeff, I noticed. Seriously, it was getting annoying. A lot of people would dream of having a boyfriend like Jeff, but he was starting to be ridiculous. I knew a lot was happening, but I needed to push all that aside and eat.
