Jamie and I soon joined Amelia and Lilly. Ryoko found us soon after. Once again, she worked on her English. "Want to see dragonet room?" We all smiled. "Definitely," Lilly said Jamie made a noise then said, "Definitely." Ryoko repeated the word. We followed Ryoko into yet another enormous room. Jamie told us that they stayed there through age 10. There was a lot of empty space. Ryoko said something in Draconic and Jamie translated it. "Right now, they are practicing flying. Other times throughout the day, they have toys. One dragon with similar coloring to Ryoko's aunt, Seraphina, landed and ran over. He threw his arms around Ryoko. The little dragon said something in Draconic. "That is Seasmoke, Ryoko's cousin." The two dragons continued to converse. "Oh!" Jamie said. "He wishes to learn English too." Jamie joined the conversation. After a few minutes, Jamie announced that she would spend an hour each day teaching any dragons that were interested in English. We continued to play with the dragonets, Jamie translating. There were five other dragonets. Celestia was a light dragon with gold scales. She particularly got along with Lilly. Aurelius was the oldest at 10 years old. He would soon be turning eleven and therefore leaving the dragonet room. He had cloaking magic, like Amelia. Even though he was young, he could make it span much farther than Amelia could. He didn't even have to be in direct contact with the creatures! His younger sister's name was Aurelia. She was a shadow dragon. I could tell that Jamie was thinking of Chris when she looked at Aurelia. She could even teleport through the shadows like Chris could. Glacier was a female ice dragon. She liked to freeze her food before eating it. She claimed it made it taste better. She then offered me a frozen mouse, which I politely declined. The final dragonet was another fire dragon. His name was Branton. Along with regular fire powers, he could make anything burning hot. It was 4 PM when we left the dragonets room. Ryoko had Jamie sit in the main room while she gathered the dragons that were interested in learning English. Raina decided that it would be up to each of the dragonets' parents whether or not they should learn. In the end, there were about 20 dragons, including Ryoko, Visserion, Raina, Seraphina, and Wavserean, Seraphina's mate. All six of the dragonets were there as well. Amelia, Lilly, and I decided to go swim in the lake that we had found while exploring. I let my tail appear. We swam through the water. As we splashed each other, I felt a nearly overwhelming sense of longing for Thomas. After she was done with the English lesson, Jamie joined us in the water. "How did it go?" I asked. Jamie shrugged. "Could have been worse. I'm not the best teacher." Amelia laughed. "I'm sure I'd be worse." We laughed and joked around for a while. Eventually, Seasmoke tottered out and hopped into the pool. "Do Seraphina and Wavserean know you are out here?" Jamie asked. She repeated the words in Draconic. Seasmoke hesitated then said, "Yes." We all smiled at him encouragingly. Then, his eyes landed on my tail. "Woah! So pretty." He turned to Jamie and continued in Draconic. Jamie told us that he asked if he was saying everything correctly. Jamie assured him that he was doing great. I played with the little guy. I splashed him with my tail and he retaliated by splashing me with his wings. It was very entertaining. He was eager to continue learning English. He was soon able to say each of our names. "Ella is a mermaid. Jamie is a fire dragon. Lilly is a light fairy. Amelia can turn invisible!" He said proudly. We continued to encourage him. We got out of the water and ate dinner. Afterwards, we went to our rooms. Jamie and I pushed the two beds together, so we could be closer. We talked to each other softly before drifting off to sleep.
