I took one final glance in the mirror before we left. Like Jamie, I had put on casual clothing. I wore a blue shirt that was slightly cropped. It covered the bulletproof vest completely. My aquamarine skirt went about halfway down my thighs. Despite the severity of the situation, I couldn't help but want to look my best. I would surely be in front of hundreds of people, after all. I took a deep breath then followed my sister and friends outside. When all of the dragons that were coming were outside, Ryoko and Cadmus bent down to allow us on their backs. There were roughly two hundred dragons, including all of the members of the Grand Dragon Council. Jamie and I rode Ryoko and Amelia and Lilly rode Cadmus. We took off and the invisibility dragons used their magic. It was a cool effect. I couldn't see anybody, not even myself. It was sort of thrilling. The fact that I couldn't see Ryoko made it seem like I was flying on my own. Since I didn't have wings like Jamie, I had never gotten to experience that. "This is so cool," Jamie said breathlessly. I nodded before remembering she couldn't see me. "It is." Time seemed to fly by and before I knew it, we were flying over the huge gate at the border. I saw the tiny specks of Hybrid Hunters on the ground. "Bye, assholes," I said quietly. It surely took a couple hours to reach the beach house, but it felt like seconds. We landed and I saw Thomas, Chris, Arabella, Kathy, and Bill. I scrambled off of Ryoko's back. The invisibility dragons made Amelia, Lilly, Jamie, and I visible. I ran towards Thomas and threw my arms around his neck. He held me to him and kissed me. I glanced to the side to see Jamie and Chris doing the same. I smiled. What a great time for you and Chris' first kiss, I sent to Jamie. Whatever, she replied. I could see that she was smiling, though. I pulled away from Thomas and gave the others hugs too.hugs too. "Has anything else happened since the dragons reported?" Thomas and Chris smiled at each other. "You guys can come out now," Thomas called. Suddenly, hundreds of people started coming out of the beach house and the woods behind it. People came from the beach and beyond. Our eyes were wide. "Who are all these people?" Amelia demanded. Chris smiled. "They are Hybrid Freedom Advocates, of course." My jaw dropped. "I thought you might recruit a few people..." "But not this many," Jamie finished. Amelia and Lilly nodded. "Why didn't you tell the dragons?" Lilly asked. Thomas smirked. "Oh, we did. We just made them promise not to tell you. We wanted you to see them yourselves. They have come from all over the world!" Jamie shook her head in disbelief. This is insane." Amelia cleared her throat. "I just realized something. How are we going to land at the Capitol Building? When they see us flying, some of them will probably realize that we are on dragons." Chris smiled and gestured for one woman to come over. "I am Kay. I can make people fall asleep for as long as I want. As soon as we are ready, I will simply snap my fingers and they will think we just appeared." We all nodded, satisfied. "We should head to the capital," Jamie said. The people somewhat formed a line. A couple dragons would land out a time and let as many people as would fit on their backs. Amelia, Lilly, Jamie, and I were the last to get on. We went on Cadmus and Ryoko again. The invisibility dragons made us all invisible again then we headed towards the capital. When we arrived, I was astounded by the sheer number of Mundanes. Probably half of them were in Hybrid Hunters uniforms. The Capitol Building was huge. There was a large dais where the president would usually stand. It was empty. I was surprised and suspicious about how cooperative the Mundanes seemed to be. All of a sudden, they all fell asleep. Each dragon landed and let the humans off of their backs. All the chiefs and chiefesses told their dragons where to go. I pulled the speech out of my pocket then nodded at Kay. She snapped her fingers and the Mundanes awoke.
