After their conversation Saafeyah had asked for more time which Woojin had expected.

He didn't feel like he was acting like himself lately. Maybe he was maturing or maybe he realised he had fucked up royally.

But he was starting to get impatient.

He looked out of the window as Sungwoo ran through his schedule. His world always felt strange without Saafeyah.

The position, the billionaire status, the luxury - nothing mattered when these things couldn't make Saafeyah laugh.

"Woojin, are you okay dude?"

"Yeah," he blinked trying to refocus. "Sorry, what did we have next?"

Sungwoo felt bad for the man.

It wasn't often that he felt bad for his boss but, Woojin had been miserable for weeks now. He didn't even care about anything and he needed Woojin to care.

Everyone's wage was depending on Woojin being his usual neurotic self.

It was funny how he was crumbling over a woman yet, he could speak disrespectfully to prime ministers all day long.

Some of the most powerful people in the world trembled under Woojin Baek.

And he trembled at the fleeting thought of Saafeyah not loving him anymore... a nameless omega.

"Are things still rough with Saafeyah," he asked ignoring the man's last question. As rough as Woojin was, sometimes closed off people just needed someone to talk to.

He was probably missing his safe space.

"She still won't come home - I don't know what to do Sungwoo- I've told her everything. I feel like Sunbin won't let me catch a break... I'm just exhausted."

"Maybe you should just go and show Saafeyah how much you love her. You two probably just need a hug from one another."

Sungwoo didn't know he could be cheesy. But maybe he was more of a romanticist than he thought. He did like how his boss was with his girlfriend.

"But she doesn't want to see me right now."

"Since when were you the type to listen?"
...

And Sungwoo was right.

He wasn't the type to listen.

That's why he was pulling up to his parents' house during the middle of the day. And... he knew his parents weren't there.

"What are you doing here," Saafeyah asked confused as he opened the door.
