Chapter 3

I woke up with some soft tap on my cheek. Malapit na pala kami bumaba.

"Wear this, ate Aiah." Inabot sakin ni Mikha yung cap na hindi ko alam dala nya pala. She's now wearing one also.

"Wow, thanks Mikhs." She knows how I want to at least cover part of my face with the help of cap. Kasi I don't want to catch attention, medyo marami na rin nakakakilala samin in public places like mall.

"You're always welcome."

Nasa parking area na kami kung saan drop off. Nagpaalam lang kami sa apat na naiwan and bumaba na. Nauna na samin pumasok ng mall si Maloi at Colet dahil may need daw sila abutan kaya nagmamadali sila. Malapit na kami sa entrance nung hinawakan ko si Mikha sa kamay.

"Mikha Lim?" Wala kasi talaga ako sa mood pumunta ng mall, ayoko muna sa mga mataong lugar. Di ko din talaga trip mag movie ngayon.

"Yes?"

"Is it okay if we save the movie you want in another time?" I asked while we're walking side by side.

"Why? you're not feeling okay? Are you hungry? We can eat here nalang. Tell me any food you crave and I'll buy it for you."

Tiningnan ko sya sa mga mata at alam ko na nag aalala talaga sya sakin. Last week pa kasi ako umiiwas at wala sa mood. Alam ko nakakahalata na sya, but I need time to set my heart and mind first before anything else. Hanggat kaya ko pa pigilan 'tong nararamdaman ko, gagawin ko.

I sighed. I know I'm being unfair with her so I decided to loosen up a bit just for tonight.

"Okay, how about turks and Lemon cucumber for take out? Yan yung gusto ko talaga kainin kahapon pa. And please, let's get out of here and find place that not crowded. I'd prefer we'll go for a walk in the park, actually, if you're fine with the idea."

There. The old Aiah said it all. Okay, isang simpleng food trip lang naman 'to with my crush and hindi dapat ako masyadong tense! Hope I didn't sound weird kay Mikha.

Napatigil sya sa paglalakad at humarap sakin habang humawak sa dalawa kong balikat. Malapit na ko matunaw sa tigin mo, Mikha Lim. Have mercy!

"Anything you want, anywhere you wanna go, all are fine with me as long as we've got time together. Namiss kita last week pa, you know naman that you can tell me anything, ate Aiah." she sighed, I saw sadness in her eyes.
"And I thought l'm your safe place?" she added and pout.

Now, I'm feeling guilty. How can I tell her everything if my secret is this feelings I have for her?
