I'm in deep sleep when I heard a phone ringing. Okay, once I got interrupted with my sleep, it's gone, it's over.

I stretched my arms thinking, maybe I can do my morning jog? or much better to cook breakfast for this handsome girl beside me.

I look at her and she's talking with someone on her phone while her eyes are still close, I like it when her-

"D-Deej?" she asked and opened her eyes.

Did I hear it right?

Ahuh.

Okay.

Oh? so that Deej is calling her this early? for what?

We are looking at each other while she froze holding her phone on her left ear.

"H-huh? .. W-what? .. Did I? .. Ahm, you know what, I'll talk to you later about it. Bye."

I stand up and about to go out of the room when she followed me and held my hand.

"A? Baby? I know you heard it, it's-"

"-why talk to her later if you can talk to her right now? If you need it private, just tell me." I know, too early for me to feel this, but I don't care.

"Baby, it's not what you think, please listen to me first?"

No. You don't baby baby me. Hmp!

"Then what should I think? That she calls you every morning just like that? for what? to talk about what?" I sighed. "Just.. nevermind. You don't need to explain everything to me."

She is about to get closer to me when my phone rings. Yes, I'm saved.

Fons calling..

I didn't even look at her and just answer it.

"Hello, Fons?"

"Olah! Aiah, are you free today?"

"Yes, I'm free. Why?"

All I want is to get out of this room, so I just said yes to Fons.

'Then, I want you here in my condo. Ria is on her way na. C'mon, let's watch movies like the old times and catch up!'

"Yeah, sure. I'll be there, wait for me."

'Good. See you. Bye!'

"See you. Bye."

"A, can we talk before you go?" she asked and I almost say yes.

"Let's talk later, M. Sorry, I need to get ready na, may pupuntahan ako." I answered and went straight to the bathroom.

Pagkalabas ko ng kwarto, I saw her standing outside and waiting for me.

I just walk towards the door as she follows me. Sinusundan nya lang ako hanggang sa lobby.

"A, where are you going? to Fons po ba? Please let me drive you there."

I can hear the sadness in her voice but I opted not to look at her and just keep my eyes on my phone.

"No need, I'll just book a grab car."

"A, please? at least let me drive you there and I'll leave you alone after. Wait for me, I'll just get the car." she didn't let me answer and walk to her car.

I let her drive me to Fons' condo. I don't want to see her like this but I just can't get it out of my mind. I'm not in the mood to just let slide.

"Thank you, M." I said when we arrived.

I heard her sighed. She held my left hand, facing me. "A, Baby.. I will let you cool down first, okay. But we will talk later, hmm? Love you." she said sofly as she kissed the back of my hand.
