Chapter 58

Last night feels like.. I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop. I didn't sleep well even though I'm physically and mentally exhausted. The message I received from Direk keeps on running through my mind.

Like, what truth he wants to know from me? I'm afraid, I don't wanna think of the possibility that he's referring to what, me and Mikha secretly have but.. there's a huge chance that it is.

I'm racking my brains thinking if having boyfriend which is not allowed in the contract, is also applied to having a girlfriend? It's different, right? How can I defend it without being emotional? I need to be ready, if ever that's really the reason why Direk wants to see me.

"Love? you're not sleepy?" Mikha with hoarse voice whispered in my ear.

We're on our way to Manila, the girls were all sleeping and I'm still restless.

"Love, sorry.. did I wake you up? masyado ba 'kong magalaw?" I whispered back.

We are keeping it down because we don't want to interrupt the sleeping girls.

"No, Love. I just want to make sure you're comfortable."

"I am, Baby.. just.. finding the right position. Don't worry about me, close your eyes na." I said and scoot closer to her.

"I love you, A." it's her very low voice that I almost missed it.

I smiled. I love you too, Mikha Lim.

I decided not tell Mikha about my meeting with Direk Lauren and the guilt feeling is taking its toll on me.

When I got home, I immediately walk to the couch and slump my whole body, I'm feeling my sore muscles from yesterday's event. I stared on the ceiling for I don't know how long. I'm tired but I can't bring myself to sleep.

I sighed thinking I have class in school tomorrow. This is not good, I'm starting to feel the stress in every thing.

My phone is ringing but I'm too tired to get and answer it. I just let it ring and waited for it to stop because I'm not in the mood to-

The annoying phone is ringing again. Aaargh! I said I don't wanna move to get that thing!

Okay, I guess it's important.

"Hello?" I greeted without emotion.

'Hello Love? are you resting na?'

"Hm, yes Love."

'Are you hungry? Any food you have in mind?'

"I'm not hungry, I need sleep."

'Okay, sorry for disturbing you. Go rest ka na Love.' I can hear the sadness in her voice.

"Love, you need to rest too, okay? Diba you're going to attend He's into Her party tomorrow?"

'Yes Love, but.. I prefer being with you tonight rather than attending the party.'

I smiled. She's being clingy na talaga and I'm lying if I would say I'm not liking it.

"Baby, we both have schedule for tomorrow, my class is at eight and your mom will visit you there early in the morning, remember?"

I heard her sighed. I know she's pouting at the moment.

'Okay, you always know how to shut me up. I miss you and I can't wait to hug you again, Baby. I'll end this call na so you can rest.'

"Rest ka na din and please lang Love, don't play games na."

She laughed and cleared her throat.

'Opo, I'll rest na, promise. Goodnight and I love you, Baby.'
