Mikha's POV

Witnessing her breaking down like this is killing me. I'll give anything to change position with her, I just don't want to see her this vulnerable, she looks fragile and I don't like it.

I let her cry in my arms. I guided her on the couch, her body against mine, and the feeling of her head on my beating heart is.. everything. After crying hard for minutes, her sobbing slowly died down and her steady breathing indicated she fell asleep.

My Baby fell asleep with tears in her eyes. I carefully wiped those remaining tears and I pulled her closer to my chest. I can feel my own eyes started to get heavy, my home is in my arms and now, I feel so calm and.. without realizing, I slowly drifted off to sleep.

"Uhh." I tried to move but I can't. It's heavy. "Uhmm." I forced my left eye to open.

It's already dark.

I fell asleep and woke up, with her still in my arms. My shoulders and arms are numb, but it just brought smile on my face.

This kind of pain is so worth it.

Aw, my Baby is so tired and feeling her stable heartbeat makes me want to sleep more. I don't have the heart to wake her up tho, and besides, I'm enjoying this super rare moment. It's been over two months since I last feel her body this close to mine.

My mind is creating fake scenarios and I'm enjoying it. I'm counting the minutes.. because I'm sure, when she woke up, she'll probably push me away the very second she noticed our very familiar position.

"Hmm." I heard her.

I'm expecting her to immediately pulled away but instead, she snuggled closer on my neck.

"Hmm.." I can feel her lips on my skin.

I hold my breath, afraid she might notice that she's not dreaming and I'm actually real.

Oh, my God. Help me. I might hug her tight and never let go.

"Uhhm.. I missed this scent." she said half asleep.

Her voice is unclear but I still catch that tho.

Not wanting to embarass her more when she finally back in herself, I cleared my throat.

I can feel her body froze. I closed my eyes and prepared myself for some commotion but she stays still.

H-huh? Why is she not moving? I asked myself.

We almost fell on the floor when we heard the opening of the door followed with the lights.

Thank you for saving me, Tita.

"H-huh? Oh, I thought you leave already, Mikha?" she asked, surprised.

Her mom looks at us suspisciously and I know I'm clean and we didn't do anything wrong but I'm still feeling my face getting hot.

"M-mom, she came back with my favorite cake and as a good human being, I let her share my lunch." she answered for me.

She acted cool by standing up and walk straight to the kitchen to get some water.

Tita just followed her by eyes and then look back at me.

I forced a smile and walk closer to her and greeted her formally.

"Mikha anak, are you two.. uhm, got back toge-"

"Oh. No no no, not really Tita, I promise you'll be the first person to know if.. ahm.. it will happen." I answered sadly.

She gave me an encouraging smile as she put her right hand on my shoulder.

"Mikha, don't lose hope on her, okay? Trust me, I know my daughter." Tita stated.
