'Writing a letter, I see,' Klaus mused as he leaned against the doorway. Luna looked up from her writing with a smirk as he drew further into the room, 'Let's see... is it for your brothers? Don't see it being my little sister,'
Luna rolled her eyes at his comment, trying not to think about the fragmented relationship her and Rebekah had at the moment. He gasped over dramatically, 'Don't say it's for me.'
'Yes, because the universe revolves around you.' She joked, tapping her pen against the table as she smiled. He rolled his eyes playfully as if her words were absurd.
Luna groaned and placed her hand over her stomach, 'How is everything?' Klaus stepped forward, concern taking over his expression. The siphon only smiled as she rubbed her stomach soothingly.
'Give me your hand,' Luna said, holding her hand out. Klaus inched backwards slightly, forcing her to tilt her head and pull a face, 'Give me your hand.' She urged.
He sighed and allowed her to guide his hand, placing it on her bump. His face lit up when he felt the kicks through her abdomen, 'You feel it?'
Klaus nodded, laughing in amazement as his hand stayed in place. After a moment, he stood up and cleared his throat. Luna rolled his eyes at his obvious awkwardness but didn't question it, 'I'll let you get back to your letter. I expect to see it by the end of the week.' He joked as he walked out of the room, leaving Luna to her own devices.
'To my little girl,' Luna wrote, 'Your dad just asked if this letter was for him, of course that's his first thought. My mother died when I was young and I never got to know her the way I had hoped to. Your dad didn't get too lucky either -- I guess that's why I'm writing this,'
Luna had been dragged into the church, laying flat on the altar as Genevieve, Monique and Abigail huddled around her. Her screams echoed through the church, her body subsiding to the pain, 'Let go of me, you fucking bitch!' She screamed, trying to sit up.
'I'm writing this so you know how much we love you, and so you know just how happy I am in this moment. I never expected to be a mother, and I don't believe in fate. But I believe that God, or the universe gave us you for a reason,'
Klaus limped into the church, the sound of the doors swinging open caused Luna's head to turn, relief taking over her body momentarily. He was covered in blood and obviously weak. He lunged towards one of the witches guards, ripping his head off. Abigail and Genevieve left the siphons side and linked hands, muttering a spell that telekinetically pinned him to the wall.
'Your Aunt Rebekah will spoil you rotten and Elijah will love you unconditionally -- as will your father and I. I'm promising you a family, people to support you through anything and everything. The rest we're going to have to work out together. I love you. Your mum.'
