An elaborate breakfast had been set up across the dining room table in the mansion, Rebekah and Klaus sat adjacent to one another on either end of the table and Luna was in the middle, awkwardly sipping her water as the siblings glared at one another. Without Luna's knowledge, Klaus had returned to the Bayou intending to lash out at Elijah, and he had succeeded by gifting him a werewolf bite. Upon learning about this, Luna had already decided to make her way out there to heal him, but her plan proved hard to execute with Klaus watching her every move.

'Have you spoken to our good friend Marcel today?' Klaus quizzed, drinking from a glass cup filled to the brim with blood.

'No, should I have?' The blonde shot back at her brother bitterly.

'He's been mysteriously silent -- avoiding me, some might say. I thought perhaps he may have whispered reasons into your ear. Along with all those sweet nothings.' Klaus wooed sarcastically.

'Can you put a muzzle on your dog?' Rebekah directed her questioned but glared at Klaus with narrowed eyes. Luna laughed out loud, but awkwardly concealed it with a cough once she saw Nik's glare in her direction, 'Do not worry, brother. If I see him, I'll be sure to ask if he's still sore at you.'

'Let me give a voice to that look in your eyes,' Klaus leaned forward, amusement gleaming in his eyes, 'My saintly noble brother lies writhing in agony in the Bayou, victim to my bastard brother's bite, when just one or two drops of his blood would ease his pain.' Nik mocked, eliciting a scoff from Rebekah.

'On the contrary, Nik. I am simply enjoying my brekkie, waiting for Elijah's healthy return.' Rebekah answered nonchalantly, leaning back in her chair as her and Klaus continued their unspoken staring contest.

'Oh, come on Rebekah, you've been giving me the devil's eye all morning. Out with it.' Klaus urged. The Salvatore silently watched, her eyes flicking between the two as they argued as if it were a tennis match. Eventually, one of them would leave or something would get thrown at the other -- Luna wasn't entirely certain which would occur yet.

'Perhaps I'm concerned that if I voice my opinion about what you did to Elijah, I will end up on the wrong side of your toxic hybrid teeth.' Rebekah retorted through gritted teeth, rage clouding her expression.

'Poppycock! I would never bite you. Elijah made some very offensive accusations about my intentions towards my child and wife. He deserves a day or two of discomfort. Besides, you know my preferred method of punishment for your indiscretions is the dagger.' Klaus rebuked, a condescending grin upon his face.

Rebekah smirked angrily, biting her tongue. A screech filled the room as Rebekah's chair dragged along the wooden floor, 'There is something fundamentally wrong with you.' She seethed, leaving the home promptly.

'You never fail to clear the room,' Luna shook her head with a tight-lipped smile as she threw a piece of toast into her mouth, 'Was the comment about the dagger really necessary?' She questioned.
