The sun loomed over New Orleans as Luna stood on the balcony connected to the nursery. She sighed as the sun rays beamed on her skin and she fiddled with the rings on her fingers, not daring to turn back to look into the empty room. Her peace was quickly disturbed by a disembodied scream. A frown fell on the face, darting out the door and following the noise.
She gazed at Klaus, cleaning the splattered crimson off his hands, 'Seems like torture was the way to go.' Luna folded her arms over her chest.
He looked between himself and the girl through the mirror as he washed up, 'Well, witches are delicate creatures. No matter, I suspected my mother had Elijah captive.'
'Okay, perfect. Let's go get him,' She trailed his movements carefully, scowling slightly when she saw him shake his head, 'Why?'
He turned to face her, walking towards her, 'Esther is too powerful. She won't be easily found. I need to draw her out.' Klaus strode past her, through the double sliding doors.
'Wait, where are you going?' She hastily turned to look at him. He drew in a breath and stared at her, smiling patronisingly.
'I'm going to change my shirt, and then I'm going to find my brother. You're welcome to join me on my former.' She smirked, leering at her as he walked deeper into their room.
Stomping after him with the roll of her eyes, she continued pleading her case appealingly, 'If your mother's that powerful, wouldn't the two of us be better than just you?'
He huffed, pulling his shirt over his head and discarding it to the side. He didn't turn to face her as he spoke, but the fixed expression on his face was evident from his pleading tone, 'I know you want to help, but you can't. My mother is wretched and she will target you. Mikael did so, my mother will too. I can't very well save Elijah if I have to save you, can I?'
Luna remained silent in contemplation, scowling when he faced her with brows raised in triumph, 'Fine. Fine, whatever.'
'Don't be bitter!' He called out as she walked out of their room. She contemplated her choices and as if it was fate, her phone rung.
Hayley's name blared on her screen and Luna was quick to get as far away as possible from where Klaus was, 'You up for a rescue mission?'
'Hell yeah.'

'Are we going after Elijah?' A new vampire spoke excitedly, stepping towards Hayley and Luna in anticipation.
Luna frowned at the vampire, looking over at Marcel, 'Who is that?' She dragged her words sceptically.
'That's Gia, don't worry,' He assured her, 'What are you planning on doing exactly?' Marcel asked, his narrowed eyes flicking between the brunette's in front of him.
'We're not going after Elijah,' Luna answered Gia's question with a cautious frown, 'We're talking about Oliver.'
'He and Elijah we're fighting the werewolves together,' Hayley took over, 'I've heard Oliver's been captured and is about to be executed.'
