For the first time in the few weeks that Luna had been stuck inside, not allowed to venture out, she wished she was alone. Only now, the hassle this baby created struck her as she was surrounded by an assortment of people, each demanding different things from her and not offering a moment for Luna to think to herself. She sat on the couch, legs up and a book in her clutch, flicking through the pages hoping she could find refugee in another reality.
A new witch, one she'd never met before sat on the couch opposite, her fingers interlocked as she pled with the siphon. Rebekah was typing away on a laptop, listening to the interaction, 'I told you that I'm fine. If anything was wrong, I'd say so.' Luna spoke, her eyes still locked on the book in front of her.
'You're overdue for a check-up.' Agnes reproached.
Luna finally slammed her book shut and placed it on the table in front of her, 'I was told multiple times to not leave the house. What am I supposed to do? Just take a stroll through the Quarter and hope no one recognises me?'
'You've been given the opportunity to have a child, women everywhere would kill for that,' Rebekah piped up, envy clear in her voice, 'It strikes me as odd that you're not taking better care of yours.' Luna looked at her, tilting her head to the side knowingly. Rebekah's hope for a child had never died, from the moment the pair grew close the Original confided in the girl, expressing her desire. Luna sighed, she was right.
'I know a doctor out in the Bayou, off the beaten path. Now, I took the liberty of making an appointment for you tonight. Tonight, after-hours, just us, vampires will never get word of it.' Agnes assured, looking between the two girls. Luna narrowed her eyes, mildly suspicious before breathing out a sigh in reluctant agreement.
'Fine, freaky Bayou-baby doctor it is.' Luna finally agreed, exiting the room with Agnes. Upon leaving, Klaus was walked towards the room. He grabbed her forearm and stopped her in her tracks. Agnes looked back, but when she noticed Klaus' deathly glare, she took it as a sign to wait by the door.
'Just be careful, and keep your guard up. I still don't trust them.' He said quietly once she, glaring at her retreating frame.
'Next time I hear the words 'be careful' come out of your mouth, I'm stabbing you in the eye.' She smiled widely, looking up at him.
'Good to know you haven't lost your hostility.'
She placed her hand on his forearm, siphoning from him, earning her a wince, 'What's was that for?' He asked, his face twisting in pain only for a moment.
Luna tilted her head to the side and scoffed over dramatically, shocked that he dared ask, 'For not inviting me to the party, of course.'

Night had fallen, and Luna was now in the middle of nowhere, stood before an ominous looking building, slowly being taken over by forces of nature as winding vines climbed up the white-painted walls. She stared at the building through the windshield of the car, 'This is the doctor's office?' She questioned, bewildered.
