"loved you at your worst, but that didnt matter."Rebekah and Luna spent the majority of the night in comfortable silence, an air of worry around the pair of them, but whatever trepidation they felt remained unspoken. The day quickly bled into the night and both were sprawled across the bed as they impatiently waited for an indication that they could leave.
"I'm considering killing my brothers." Luna said, staring up at the ceiling as she dragged her finger's through her hair in an attempt to keep herself busy in the most monotonous way possible.
"You say that but you won't," Rebekah sing-songed mockingly, looking over at the girl momentarily, "And Klaus wouldn't want you to break down over this."
"Really? I doubt he'd have any issues with me killing them."
"He wouldn't," Rebekah raised her brows, folding her arms over her stomach, "You would, eventually. Why don't you reserve your rage for when they actually try and kill Nik."
Luna sat up, leaning back against the headboard and looking down at the Original, "Desiccating him is close enough."
"I'm glad to see that you're finally coming to terms with the fact that your brother's aren't exactly who you expected them to be." Rebekah spoke bluntly and her eyes remained fixed on the ceiling.
The words struck Luna in a way she didn't anticipate. She hummed in consideration and kept her lips sealed, almost embarrassed that her statement wasn't fully true. Despite the fact she had been wounded by her brother's choices many times, she preferred deluding herself into believing otherwise.
The door creaked open before Luna could offer a plausible response coated in a lie, and Elijah offered her a tight-lipped smile and Luna knew it was time to negotiate, "Are you sure you want to go?" Rebekah asked with furrowed brows as Luna pulled her boots on.
"Why wouldn't I go?" Luna narrowed her eyes a sliver as she picked up her black coat with fur trim along the collar.
"Because you've been fantasising about a blood bath for the last hour. I'm sure Elijah is perfectly capable-"
"And so am I," Luna cut her off quickly, forcing a tight smile and widening her eyes. The expression on Luna's face made Rebekah click her tongue and bite her lip, her eyes shifting to her elder brother, "No time like the present. Let's go."

Elijah places his hand on the door handle, but doesn't turn it making Luna raise her eyes brows, "Luna, for the sake of getting my brothers body back, please try not to kill anybody."
The only movement through the still night were the two vampires stalking up the Gilbert's porch steps. The heartbeats she could hear on the other side of the door elicited a blind rage within her. Her forehead creased and almost didn't digest the words Elijah had said, "Luna, for the sake of retrieving my brother, please try to retain any homicidal tendencies."
