Luna had been forced to attend the wake of Father Kieran. However, the girl didn't complain as she was granted an opportunity to leave the house -- The only downside being that she was surrounded by drunk people. She approached the table where Klaus and Elijah were sat, 'I warn you, Luna. Niklaus is in a spectacularly foul mood today.'
'Sod off.'
'Yeah, looking at him is making me a suicide risk.' She fake grimaced, making Klaus only roll his eyes and sip on his drink.
'Today is a day of peace, and I will be doing my best to enjoy it. But right now,' He grabbed the bottle of scotch on the table and opened it, 'I'm gonna finish this bottle, and the next, in the hopes of drowning the demon who has chosen to haunt me today,' He looked up at the ceiling before chugging straight from the bottle, forcing Elijah and Luna to exchanged a wide-eyed stare, 'Cheers, Mikael. Impeccable, Freudian timing.'
'Elaborate.' Elijah demanded, staring at Klaus who refused to meet anyone's gaze.
'You've been dreaming about Mikael?' Luna questioned, leaning forwards slightly.
'Go ahead, have a good laugh.' The hybrid sunk into the booth bitterly, looking between the pair of them.
'I can assure you there is no piece of this that I find even remotely amusing, Niklaus. Especially considering I've been dreaming of him, too.' Dumbfounded expressions turned towards Elijah.
'What?'
'This just keeps getting better and better.' Luna muttered, folding her arms over her chest.
Elijah ignored her previous comment and began brainstorming, 'If you are also seeing him...' He trailed off mid-sentence, turning to see Genevieve enter Rousseau's, 'Perhaps our elusive, unknown enemy is orchestrating a further attack?'
'Well, then. What better way to punctuate a day of peace than by killing someone?'
*
'What do you mean disintegrating?' Elijah questioned the red-headed witch.
'She's right, kind of,' Luna walked into the room as she stuffed her phone into her pocket, 'Just called my brother. Turn's out the other side is imploding, ghosts are getting swept up into nothingness. Let's just say they're not too happy about it.' She explained.
'So you're saying that our father, faced with permanent extinction, has decided to spend his remaining time tormenting us? How delightful.' Elijah mused sarcastically.
'At least you'll never have to put up with him again after this.' Luna added with raised brows, pointing out the silver lining.
Klaus smiled widely, 'And what a good riddance that will be.'
Genevieve sighed, drawing everyone's eyes towards her, 'So, am I in the clear, Elijah? Or is there a new conspiracy you'd like to threaten me over?'
'Nothing springs to mind at this precise moment...' Elijah trailed off. The witch rolled her eyes and took it as her cue to exit to room. The brother's discussed the new found information, Luna desperately trying to stay conscious to what they were saying, but an uneasy feeling passed over her, something odd that Luna couldn't identify and passed almost as quickly as it came.
