"i loved you, i love you, i loved you, its true"

"I'm struggling to find the point of being here." Luna's expression pinched as she surveyed the leftover decorations dangling from the walls of the dingy hallways.

"Because," Rebekah stalked through the school expertly, "I didn't even get to show up to the dance so this is the closest I can get to going."

Luna sighed deeply at the response, "That's why you're here, why am I?"

"Oh, I'm sorry. Would you prefer to be with Klaus?" Rebekah placed her hand over her chest mockingly with her brows raised suggestively.

"Ahh, I see. The only way you can change the subject is by putting me on the spot." Luna pushed open the double doors that led into the cafeteria littered in the remnants of the night before.

"I don't want to talk about my hundredth failed attempt to go to one of these dances, I want to talk about something else." Luna rolled her eyes at the provocative words as she sauntered around the open space, avoiding the rubbish across the floor.

"Like what happened between your brother and I?" The heretic's eyes widened momentarily as she watched Rebekah's contemplative expression shift considerably, from one of curiosity to indecipherable.

"Exactly."

"Why? Are you mad that something happened?" Luna questioned carefully, though the question was harmless it was one that needed to be raised.

"Are you kidding me? I've been rooting for you guys since day one."

Luna pointed an accusatory finger, "That's not true. You wanted me to get with Kol first, remember?"

Rebekah smiled at the reminder, "Yeah, but it didn't take very long for me to switch teams after seeing how madly in love you were." The Original mooned mockingly. Luna pushed her away with as a wave of embarrassment washed over her at the memory.

"I don't know why you're pretending this is foreign to you. You know what happened." Luna spoke timidly, her frame cowering in her own shadow at the plethora of questions.

"I want to know how it happened." Rebekah pressed as she stood next to her.

"You're making me uncomfortable."

"Did you hit your head?" The words dragged a wide-eyed expression out of Luna, her head angling to face the Original, "You used to tell me everything the instant it happened."

The truth of the words were like rubbing salt into a wound. Luna couldn't neglect the difficultly she felt trying to accustom to what her life had shifted into. She sighed and recited the events of the night vaguely, "After I got into an argument with my brothers, I left the Grill, he caught up with me and offered me a drink. And I said yes."
