MIKHA's POV

'L-l-loii?' my voice called out to her but there was no sound coming from me. I woke up feeling weak and exhausted searching for the person I had been dreaming for an eternity. The longing for her was strong and I feel the need to hug and touch her. I was in a room full of apparatus 'where am I?'

I saw a girl holding my hand sleeping peacefully, this is not the girl who I wanted to be beside me 'who are you?' I whispered inaudibly, I really don't know this woman but the feeling to push her away didn't let me do so. It's like my heart knows her but my mind didn't recognize her.

Nagising yung babae sa tabi ko and nanlaki yung mata niya when our eyes met.

"Mikha? you're awake na? oh my God, thank you Lord.. wait wait I'll call the doctor" she let go of my hand and panickly run out of the room. There I was left feeling empty, her lack of presence suddenly felt sad.

'Why am I here? hospital ba to? what happen to me the day when maloi didn't chose me over colet? who is that girl? why does she know me? as far as I can remember, ako yung nag push na piliin ni maloi si colet. We part ways without a fight, It was just a calm and peaceful talk. Although it really hurts, I decided to let her go because I love her and I am not the one who she needs' so many thoughts running through my head when suddenly the girl came back with a doctor rushing by behind her back.

When I saw her again, the warmth that is gone the moment she leave the room came back 'sino ka ba?' I sighed

The doctor checked me and kinausap niya outside yung babae after, I was feeling nauseous. Nararamdaman ko na unti unti yung sakit na dulot ng mga nakasaksak na apparatus sa katawan ko. When the door opened, the girl looked at me and smiled lightly. Naupo siya sa kanina niyang pwesto and asked me multiple questions.

"Mikha, kamusta pakiramdam mo? may masakit ba? do you want something? water? nagugutom ka ba? tell me"

"I...." hindi ko matuloy yung sasabihin ko dahil walang boses na lumalabas sa bibig ko, I feel my throat burning and I winced in pain trying to push myself speaking. I saw her face flashed an emotion of worry.

"uhhh ohh you probably can't speak right now? hays tama nga yung doctor kasi sabi niya baka daw walang lumabas na speaking voice for a few hours sayo. Kasi nasanay yung katawan mo na hindi ka nagsasalita for a month, don't worry It will be back. Nag aadjust lang yung katawan mo to function"

I just nodded and shut my mouth 'ano pa bang magagawa ko e no choice naman' I want to ask her if ano name niya when suddenly parang nabasa niya yung iniisip ko.

"btw mikha I forgot to introduce myself pala, I'm Aiah" she smiled sweetly, the little dimple on the lower corner of her lips was the thing that is noticeable to my eyes but her face itself is just divine as it is. Ngumiti ako pabalik kasi hindi naman ako nakakapagsalita pa, narealize ko tuloy na ang hirap pala maging pipi.

"do you want to rest? nod if you want" umiling ako at tinuro ko yung phone ko

"ahh yung phone mo, here.." inabot niya to sakin

I looked at the date, It was exactly 1 month and 1 week since maloi and I talked. I wanna know what happen, siguro mamaya pag pwede na ko magsalita tatanungin ko nalang si aiah.

I opened my phone and scroll through my social media, ang dami ko palang namiss out. Biglang dumaan yung post ni sheena 3 weeks ago, it was a graduation picture of us posted on our graduation day with a caption saying "Congratulations to us Miks my dear bestfriend, we finally graduated but I wish you were here to attend with me. Pagaling ka na then we'll have a celebration together, gising ka na diyan please"
