YOU WOULD THINK SOMEONE as obvious as Ward Cameron would be easy to pin... but that night would only show how hard it would be for a group of teenagers to prove that he did it. The police would always favor those who put money in there pockets, not the teenagers trying to clear the guilt of a supposed-to-be-dead person.

Ward was meeting Gavin tonight, they were making an exchange, money for evidence. If the Pogues could intercept them, or even get a photo it would be enough to incriminate Ward and Rafe. Or so they could hope.

It was raining by the time they fetched Pope's camera and arrived at the construction sight to wait for the exchange. It was the dead of night and it was pouring out. Andrew had on a dark cargo jacket on, rain drops beaded down on onto his hood as he tried to get a good look.

The only light in the area was coming from bright street lights which would expose their location if they were spotted from the right angle. But they need proof, something that would prompt a reinvestigation from the police.

Pope raised his camera to adjust the view as JJ rolled his eyes. "Nice camera. Where's you dig up that relic?" JJ asked, not amused by the old video camera.

"Why don't you just use your phone?" Andrew asked, also unimpressed.

"Well, first of all, I like my antique electronics," Pope states. "And second of all, this is a telephoto."

"And what does that mean, nerd-nerd?" Andrew asked as he pulled up on his hood. They where all sat on top of a building across from the construction site Ward had told Gavin to meet him at. There was a short brick wall that lined the edge of the roof which they were all squatted behind.

"It allows me to get a close image from far away." Pope answered.

"Lord of the dorks." Kie mumbled.

"For definitive proof of witness payoff, we're gonna need quality glass." Pope defended himself.

"Yeah, just don't drop it." Andrew comments.

"Ey." JJ smacked Pope in the shoulder and pointed at the street. "There he is." He states, motioning below where Ward had appeared, running through the rain to the construction site. Gavin appeared right after and the two men ran inside the bare bones of the building, going up to the second floor.

The building at barely any roof, most of the wooded second floor was soaked, the building was all scaffolding.

"You're getting this, right?" Kie asked and Pope nods.

"I've got eyes, I see em." Pope confirmed as the others squinted through the rain in an attempt to see what was going on. "Ward just handed Gavin something. I think it's a duffel bag." Pope informed the group.
