"Like, did you see her pull the whole violin out of her satchel!? It was like Marry Popins!"

"I was there, Calypso. I saw." Hecate rolled her eyes as they returned to Calypso's dorm room.

"And then her music! Oh my Gods Katy, that was the most beautiful piece I've ever heard! It was like she was putting her literal heart and soul into her music! I could feel how mournful and sad she was just by playing the notes!"

"I was there, Calypso." Hecate repeated with a laugh.

"How are you not- well I guess she's your sister so you're used to it." Calypso sighed before practically collapsing onto the couch, her true form quickly shining through before she let out a loud purring sound made up of clicking noises.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it." Hecate smiled as she made her way around the couch before leaning over and giving her a quick kiss on the top of her head. She smiled as all her fins and frills folded back to give her as much room as possible. "I'll make sure she knows you want to see her again."

"Oh of course! As much as possible!" Calypso admitted, looking up at her with a smile as she rolled slightly so she was on her side instead of her stomach. "It was almost nostalgic really, like I was at a ball or castle party."

"You lived in a castle?" Hecate smiled, sitting on the coffee table beside the couch. "I wish I had known you were-"

"I'm not royalty, and I didn't 'live' in a castle. There is a King of most major cities and a castle at the center. The Monarchs of the city throw weekly balls and events where the public is welcomed to play music and reveal their voices and powers to everyone. It's those events that create a social standing as the 'talk of the towns' are discovered there."

"That actually sounds really amazing." Hecate smiled.

"And also, don't tease me for being royalty when you're literally a child of a Goddess."

"Technically not a Goddess."

"I mean, super famous ArchAngels and Devils might as well be Gods and Goddesses." Calypso chuckled as she sat up a bit, pulling a pillow under her head so she was a bit more level with Hecate where her tail was still long enough to flop over the other end of the couch.

Hecate shrugged. "I mean, I guess. I never really think about it that way. When I think of my parents... I just see Nyx and Devin. I don't really think of... anyone else..."

"Which makes sense. Your memories were toyed with, so you're more familiar with them than your real parents. But that's okay." Calypso smiled. "But we don't have to talk about parents or anything like that."

"I'm... I'm so curious about where you come from. It's so unique and..."

"Alien?"

"I mean, I wouldn't say that, but yes. Technically it's alien to me." Hecate shrugged a bit.

"What do you want to know?" Calypso asked.

"So, you didn't live in a palace or a castle. Did you live in a little home or something?"

Calypso chuckled. "We lived in towering coral structures, kinda similar to apartment buildings. So there are large houses stacked on top of each other. They can build additions onto it so it kinda looks like tree houses with large branching structures on these spires."

"So living in a dorm like this must be a familiar feeling then?"

"Yes. It's nice to live so close to other people. My culture is very communal and social. So living so far away from other people is... frustrating."
