 "Psst. Katy?"

Hecate grumbled and opened one eye to look into the smiling face of her girlfriend. "What?"

"What's the plan for today?" She asked, her scales already starting to glow from her excitement.

"Did you just wake up?"

"Of course!"

"Cuz the level of glow tells me you've been awake for at least an hour, sitting here vibrating in your excitement." Hecate closed her eye with a yawn before snuggling back into her pillow.

Calypso grumbled. "Come on Katy! I'm excited to explore the manor more with you!"

"Are you sure you want to do it with me? You went off by yourself last night and ended up with your own private concert."

Calypso growled in annoyance where Hecate just smiled a bit. However nervousness started to set in as the silence continued for a few seconds too long. She opened her eyes again just in time for Calypso to prod her claws into her ribs. Not hard enough to break skin, but hard enough to be very uncomfortable and very sharp.

"Ah! Fuck!" Hecate whined, jumping back in surprise where she fell off the bed. Calypso laughed and made her way over to the other edge of the bed to look down at Hecate, who had banged the back of her head on the nightstand on the way down. She was now laying on the floor curled up, holding the back of her head with a growl.

"I'm not sure I like the idea of you being so quick to violence." Hecate growled. "I'm pretty sure that's a sign of a toxic relationship."

"Then it might be gaslighting for me to say, but I genuinely thought you would just jump in surprise, not fling yourself out of the bed." Calypso answered. "Are you okay?"

"Did I break the nightstand?"

"I don't care about the nightstand, idiot." Calypso grumbled, rolling out of bed and crouching down over Hecate. "Are you okay? Let me see it."

Hecate grumbled and sat up, turning away from Calypso who pulled her hands away from the back of her head. Calypso frowned at the small amount of shine on the hybrid's hair, telling her that there was a bit of blood mixed in with the jet black.

"You still heal quickly, right?" Calypso asked.

"Yeah. The pain is already fading away. Why? Am I bleeding?" Hecate asked before looking at her own hands. "Oh, I guess I am."
"Fuck Katy... I know you're really strong and can take a hit but I didn't want you to actually get hurt. I'm really sorry." Calypso frowned. "I don't want you to think I enjoy hurting you just because you heal... I mean, sometimes you deserve it, but not all the time."

Hecate chuckled before turning around. She licked the bit of blood off her own palms before wiping them on her boxers, then reached up to cup Calypso's cheeks. "I'm fine, Cally. No harm done."

"We should at least clean the blood out of your hair." Calypso answered. "Let's go have a shower."

"Are you still upset with yourself?"

"... No?"
"I almost believed you."

Calypso stood up with a scoff as she rolled her eyes before turning to walk away. However Hecate grinned and wrapped her arms around Calypso's tail, hugging it and preventing her from walking away. Calypso dragged her a few feet before realizing that the hybrid wasn't going to let her go.

She groaned loudly before glaring over her shoulder at the hybrid who was smirking up at her with a childish grin. "I feel bad that I made you hit your head and bleed! I can't just not feel guilty! It doesn't work that way!"
