I hear the employees greet me while I make my way to the elevator, but the hell I care with them. I don't owe them anything other than them working for my company
I walked with my chin up high and ignored those people
As if I know, they're like most people. Most people who will act angelic in front of you, pero kung makapagsalita kapag nakatalikod ka na ay parang sinasaniban ng demonyo
I took the private elevator that only my secretary and I can go into. This, I decided myself. I specifically told dad about this dahil I've been scarred for like with what happened when I was in London
An employee's smell took over the elevator na nagpasuka sa ibang employees na kasama ko
Yes, I know. Disaster
"Ma'am the requested board meeting will be held at 11 o'clock. Then after that, you have an appointment with Mr Mendoza at Gourmet Grill. Then with Ms Lopez of Gold Line at 2:30. That's all for today" I just smiled at her as a sign of approval and as if on cue, the elevator opened
I made my way to my office and found a man sitting comfortably on the couch while playing his iPad
Men with their cars and technology
I arched an eyebrow because he didn't even realize that I'm already standing here. I cleared my throat to get his attention, pero wala pa rin
I closed the door really loud and BINGO, I caught his attenton
"Napaaga ka ata?" sabi niya and stood up to give me beso
"I moved my flight earlier" I answered him casually
"Ah. Mukha atang hot ang ulo mo ah? Ang hot na nga ng klima sa Pilipinas, pati ba naman ulo mo?"
I glared at him
"Ano ka ba! Namiss lang kita! Huy nerd, bigyan mo nga ng shake itong boss mo. Ang init nanaman ng ulo. Make that two actually, isang mango at isang strawberry. Thanks nerd" he said while instructing my secretary.
I smiled mentally dahil parang gusto sagutin ng secretary ko itong kapatid ko, pero hindi niya magawa dahil nandito ako
"Go ahead, Clarisse. I'll take care of this"
"Yes ma'am" she said while glaring at my brother
"You know, she's my secretary. You can't be that harsh to her. What are you doing here anyway?"
Nangibit balikat ito "Wow, best way to say you miss me, favorite sister!" sabi niya with his infamous sarcastic laugh.
"Shut up, J. I'm your only sister. So?" I waited. I made my way papunta sa swivel chair and quickly sat down. I think I'm a little jet lagged
"Wala lang, walang magawa sa baba eh, kaya umakyat ako para sana asarin yung nerd mong secretary, eh ikaw pa nadatnan ko."
I knew it. I looked at him suspiciously to tease him. Hindi ako against in whoever he will like as long as the person is decent and well educated
