Everything seem to look fine. It's been three days since the day I saw that car in our street at ever since then, lagi ko na itong nakikita every night
Seems like stargazing is now a thing. I always find peace when I see it
I came back to reality when I heard a knock "Open"
Bumukas ito at pumasok si Clarisse na may ngiti sa mukha "Ma'am, in accept po ni Elizabeth ang offer niyo"
I smiled "Does she know that I am the owner of the product she's about to endorse?"
Tumango si Clarisse, pero napalitan nang parang naaawa ito "Pero bumaba po ang fans ni Elizabeth dahil sa nangyari sa mall. Sure po kayong okay lang kayo, ma'am?"
Yes she knows kahit wala siya dun. How? Sinabi ko sakaniya and I also told her na sana hindi makarating sa pamilya ko
"Yes I'm fine. It's been days anyways"
"So ano na po plano niyo ma'am?"
"Let her beg"
Umalis na si Clarisse after namin magusap about sa money loss ng kompaniya at hindi parin ako nakakatanggap ng tawag kay Maison
Asan na kaya yung lalaking yun?
And just right on cue, parang narinig ata ng diyos ang pinagdadasal ko, Clarisse called me sa intercom to notify me na nasa labas daw si Maison
He knocked and opened the door "Hey!" sambit nito
I looked at him and looked down sa plastic bags na dala nito. And I smelled the aroma of Italian food that made me stomach growl
"I heard what happened about your kids. I hope they are fine, now"
I looked at him and gave him a smile. I don't feel like talking "Here I brought food. Sorry I couldn't take your calls for the past days dahil naging busy ako with AA and the office"
He shot me an apologetic face, but seems like he's not sincere. I blinked three times and still, he does not look like he meant what he just said
I shook my head. I'm overthinking again
"Salamat" he placed iced tea and pasta in front of me. I felt my mouth water and I heard his chuckle "Someone's hungry"
I felt my face heat up. I probably look like a caveman. Good job Julie! Way to go!
I composed myself and ignored him
We ate in silence. Pag katapos kumain, inayos ko ang desk ko at nag proceed with the work. Siya naman, lumabas panandalian dahil may tumawag daw sakaniya
I prepared my questions so when he comes back, I could ask him right away
Bumukas ang pintuan at pumasok ulit si Maison. This time, he looks guilty and constipated "Are you okay?" mukhang nagulat pa siya na nandito ako kaya kumunot ang noo ko.
Anong problema nito?
"U-uh y-yeah I'm fine" tumikhim siya "I got the voicemail you've left. What is it you wanted to talk about?" he sounded formal. So unusual
I sat straight and gave out a loud sigh "I'm not doubting you, but when you joined the company I thought we'd conquer the problem with the company losing money" I shot it straight forward. I don't like sugar coating

I remember when Charlie and I talked. She said she doesn't trust Maison and I don't doubt my friend's opinions because I take them in consideration most of the time
