I still can't grasp the fact that Elmo bought this house in the province. Or should I say rancho
At first I felt uncomfortable dahil ang laki nito at lima lamang kaming magpamilya, but when I realized how peaceful this place is, I fell in love with it
We have 5 horses, at ibang farm animals. Tinanong ko si Elmo kung bakit, he said he would want to expand our business to agriculture so I said why not
Well I didn't exactly say why not dahil I was against it because it'll be hard for him, but I saw how happy he was with this expansion so that's when I really said why not
Can you believe that seven months already passed since that day? Napabinyagan na namin si EJ and she's already walking now!
"Baby kuya, be careful with your sister" nasa baba sila habang ako ay nasa veranda dito sa kwarto namin
Basically the house has a mixture of glass and wood structures. May ibang place na overlooking ang labas at may ibang place naman na parang cottage style
"Yes mommy!" sigaw ni Jack from downstairs
I am currently looking over the sales for the company. Kahit sinabi ni Elmo na wag na akong magaalala with the company, I can't help it
Yaya Jhing is currently in Manila. Siya din ay pabalik balik. She's a bit sentimental with the house in Manila kaya minsan gusto niyang pumunta to clean or just to stay there in case out family come over
Nasa office siya dito sa bahay dahil may ka video meeting siya. We barely go back to Manila din unless may gagawin dahil malayo layo ang San Fernando La Union sa Manila
I heard the door open, but I ignored it thinking that it's either Zeke or Jack with EJ, but when I felt manly hands on my shoulder, I knew it was someone else
I quickly closed the laptop pero mukhang nakita niya na ang ginagawa ko dahil kumunot na ang noo niya
"Hi baby damulag" paglalambing ko. Mas lalong kumunot ang noo niya. He doesn't like it when i call him that
"What were you just doing?" disregarding my term of endearment with him
"Nothing..." I looked away dahil nakatingin siya sa akin
"Does nothing mean checking the business sales again or nothing means nothing?" he sounded sarcastic
I pouted. Ang boring kaya na walang ginagawa sa bahay. The kids always keep each other company and I spend time with them, pero I still miss that work aura
"Baby, sabi ko naman sayo that you don't have to work anymore. You can just take care of the kids. I don't want to tire you"
He sat beside me and pulled me closer kaya nilagay ko ang legs ko sa legs niya "Pero kasi na bobore na din ako minsan kaya ine-email ko si Karla to send me the works you have not done para matapos ko na at less hassle sayo"
"Wait a minute..." I bit my tongue. Shit, I was not supposed to say that!
"Was that why I barely had work to do last week and some time last month because you did them?"
I slowly nodded. Well Julie, what has your mouth brought you to?
I thought he would get mad dahil some of them involved me talking to other CEOs to voice out our partnership with them dahil nga nagsimula ang farm business namin
"Thank you. You're the best" he smiled widely and kissed me
"You're not mad?"
"No" ani niya at pinaglaruan ang palad ko
Nakikilit ako, but I felt comfortable with his touch. He was leaning in to kiss me when we heard a scream "Mom!" sabay kaming napatayo ang we both ran downstairs
"What happened?" Elmo and I are both panting para malaman kung anong nangyari at nakita lang namin ang malaking ngiti ng dalawa habang hawak ang kamay ng kanilang kapatid
"Say it again little princess" malambing ng sambit ni Jack sa kapatid
"Mama.. Dada.." Jack and Zeke looked at us. I looked at Elmo and he was glancing at EJ with tears in his eyes
I suddenly remembered that he wasn't there when Jack and Zeke both spoke a word. Well the first one to speak was Zeke kaya naalarma ako na baka may problema kay Jack, but after awhile, Zeke got his brother speaking too
He fist bumped the two boys first and took EJ from them "Princess can you please say it again for dada?"
EJ looked at him and touched his nose "Mama.. Dada.." she repeated
Nilapitan ko ang dalawa at kitang sobrang hanga pa din sila sa pagsasalita ng kanilang kapatid
Elmo kissed EJ's face at mukhang naiirita na ang babae pero hinahayaan lang ang daddy niya
"I want to teach her more words mommy" I looked at Zeke
I pinched his cheek "Alright kuya, you can teach her words. Just not big words, yet"
Tumango siya "You shouldn't be saying that to me, mommy. You should be saying that to kuya.." mapangasar na sambit ng kambal nito
Hindi naman pikon si Jack kaya ngumiti lamang ito na parang iniisip niya na ang sinabi ng kapatid niya before
"Say it again princess.." this is probably the tenth time Elmo said that to EJ pero mukhang pagod na ang little girl namin dahil nilagay niya lang ang ulo niya sa balikat ng dada niya
I remember Elmo had the same reaction when EJ first managed to crawl at ang una nitong step
He was having his video meeting at nasa loob kami ng opisina tapos biglang nag crawl si EJ dahil tinuturan ng dalawa at bigla na lamang nito tinapos ang video meeting para makipaglaro sa anak namin
"Alright daddy will leave you for now little princess.." malambing nitong sambit
"Dad you're so weird.." ani Zeke
Tumango naman si Jack at ang apir sila ng kapatid. Elmo just stuck his tongue out sa dalawa "Let's go to mama"
He proceeded to coming to me and gave me EJ "She spoke.." masayang sambit niya
"Okay kuya, we're out" ani Zeke dahil alam niyang maglalambing nanaman ang daddy nila
"Can we take Kuya Ben to go and get Zeus with us?" Zeus is his horse
"Alright. You boys be careful, okay?"
"Yes dad" sigaw ng dalawa dahil nasa labas na sila
I just shook my head with a smile on my face "She just spoke" hindi parin makapaniwala na sambit ni Elmo
"Mmhmm" ani ko
"Oh baby.. I love you so much. I love all of you so much. I'm the happiest and luckiest man alive" ani niya at siniil ako sa halik
Napabitiw kami sa isa't-isa dahil biglang umangat ang ulo ni EJ sa kabilang balikat ko at tinanggal ang labi ng dada niya sa labi ko
"Mama.. Dada.." then again, Elmo got zoned out with our little girl
Lord God, I just want to thank you for this life..
