Nandito ako ngayon sa opisina at kinakausap ang accountant ng company
"What happened? Paanong nangyari nag pull out ang isa sa mga major stockholders ng company?" I asked Mr Chan
He looked down and shook his head, pati siya mukhang stress.
I called for an urgent meeting with the head of accountant to fix this, it's 7 in the morning at ito ang inaasikaso ko. Akala ko mabilisan lang, pero mag iisang oras na kami pero wala pa din solusyon
"Ms San Jose, ang reason ng Quadragon is that may nag offer sakanila ng mas malaki. We either take more of small companies to balance, or we find someone who's in the same level as Quadragon" stressed na sabi nito
"No we won't do that" sambit ko
Mukhang ayaw niya sa ideya ko dahil mukhang gusto nito mag disagree "But ma'am, that's one of our solutions"
"We won't do that, we'll come up with something" determinadong sabi ko.
I turned down so many proposals. For sure naman na tatanggapin nila kami, but for the past years, companies are only asking us for proposals because of our company's name, basically taking us for granted
"We can call Mrs San J--"
I cut him off even before he could finish his suggestion "No, we have the whole day today. That's the last thing we would do. Meet me at 11. Meeting adjourned"
Nag bow ito "See you Ms San Jose"
I looked back at the papers. This is just too much and too sudden.
FLASHBACK
"We have a problem" Charlie and Karl said in unison.
Nakuha ko naman ang gusto nilang sabihin.
Tsk, hindi pa nga kami nakakaalis eh.
Lumapit sa akin si Karl at inakbayan ako, si Charlie naman ay hinawakan ang kaliwang kamay ko. "Sorry na babes" they said with their apologetic smile
I looked at them and sighed "Alam niyo naman na ang tagal na namin pinlano ito ng mga bata, babes" pag rarason ko.
Ni rub ni Karl ang shoulder ko at ni let go, niyakap naman ako ni Charlie after ako ni let go ni Karl
"Pwede mo naman i move yung flight niyo ng mga bata later tomorrow. For sure naman kaya mo ayusin yun. Sorry na babes, hindi ko kasi alam kung paano nangyaring nawalan ng major stockholder and San Jose Company"
I froze. Wait, "WHAT???!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. Charlie started stepping away from me "Akala ko hindi lang kayo pwede regarding sa deal natin. What the heck? I was only gone for half the day. What happened?"
Nakita ko sa peripheral vision ko na nagbaback away si Karl habang hinihimas ang batok, pero naka lock pa din ang tingin ko kay Charlie na ngayon ay tumigil na sa pag atras dahil nga nakatingin ako sakaniya, thinking that she'd take away what she just said
I sighed and massaged my temple "Are you serious?"
"Yes, babes. Sorry na"
I mentally cursed "Have you told anybody other than the employees?"
"No babes, sinabihan ko na din na sana wag muna lalabas ang news dahil malaking scandal ito for San Jose company" pag eexplain niya. We started walking towards the garden. Wala a si Karl, mukhang pumasok na sa loob
We sat down by the bench na nandito sa garden sa harap ng swimming pool "Wait, did you tell Joshua or Jona?"
"Not yet, I was kinda waiting for your cue if I should tell them or not. Should I?" seryosong sambit nito
