Amy's POV
Me: "I'm glad you came."
Shadow: "It's no bother."
I was having Shadow help my rearrange some furniture so I could paint my walls, I think it's a good distraction for him... well that and I needed somebody to ramble to.
Shadow: "So."
Me: "Soooo?"
Shadow: "What color are you painting them?"
He made a gesture to the newly empty wall.
Me: "Pink."
Shadow: "Rose."
Me: "Hmm?"
Shadow: "The walls are already pink."
Me: "Yeah but I wanna make it a lighter shade."
Shadow sighed as he carried a small side table away from what I like to call 'The Spot Zone'. He seemed distracted, but that is usually how Shadow is when we are alone together. I wish I knew what he was thinking about.

Shadow's POV
'I wonder what I should have for lunch...(JK)'
I wonder what she is planning. She had that look on her face, nibbling her lip, ears twitching methodically, and she keeps glancing side to side in a thoughtful manner... I think I may have signed up for more than I bargained for.
Amy: "Hey Shadow..."
The sudden noise startled me out of my trance.
Me: "Yes Rose?"
Amy: "I was wondering..."
Oh Chaos no.... the eyes....
Amy: "Can you take me shopping tomorrow?"
Me: "No."
Amy: "But why"
She put her lips in a pout and looked at me with an adorable expression. It took all my self control not to blush or make a look. I swear, this woman is going to be the death of me.
Me: "Because, Rose, I have more important things to-"
As I began to walk away she grabbed my arm. Slowly pulling me back to her, those emerald eyes of hers putting me in a trance as she stared into my eyes.
Amy: "Is it something I did? I'm sorry."
The pained look in her eyes broke me.
Me: "UGH... fine."
Amy: "Yay!"
She gave me a tight hug and pecked my cheek before beginning to order me to move her things around again. As long as I could hear her voice....

Sonic's POV
Tails and I were beginning to head over to see Ames when we saw it, a massive fireball hurtling towards the surface of Greenhill.
Tails: "Ah! Sonic!"
Me: "Don't worry buddy, I got this!"
I raced across the hills to a nearby mountain to get a better view. I was shocked by what I saw...
