Chapter 27

Third Person POV

He could not indeed handle the training.

Knuckles: "AGH!"

crash

thud

whack

WHAM

BD: "I thought you said he was strong?"

The others looked at the echidna in shock.

Sonic: "He is."

Tails: "He's literally being thrown like a ragdoll by that thing."

And he was, by an animatronic Lizarian.

Shadow stared through the glass, coming up with a plan for his turn.

Black led them into the training room.

BD: "You will all go in whatever order you please, except you."

He gestured towards his son.

Shadow: "Why am I last?"

BD: "Testing a theory."

Sonic went first and was destroyed.

And soon Tails was as well.

Then Blaze.

Then Silver.

Then Amy and Cream.

Knuckles was now going and Rouge would soon follow after.

Very soon.

CRACK

BD: "Shut it down!"

He let out a sigh, none of them stood a chance at this rate.

Rouge was waiting to go in, but Shadow held out his hand.

Shadow: "We're teammates, regardless of what anybody says."

Rouge: "You got that right hun!"

She happily grabbed his hand and pulled him through the entrance before Black Doom could stop her.

Shadow: "I'll take the ground..."

Rouge: "and I'll take the skies."

With that rouge began attacking from the air and Shadow from below, sending the robotic lizard into a battle frenzy. The two of them began to distract while the other attacks until Shadow froze in place.

Shadow's POV

This brought something back to me.... that day on Angel Island. So many people died to these things.... was I really?

Rouge: "SHADOW!"

Her scream snapped me out of it.

I don't know how I blocked that blade....

It was in the palm of my hand, inches from my face.... then I saw red.

Third Person POV

They all stood in shock as Shadow's eyes began to glow as his grip tightened around the blade, ripping it from the metallic foes grip, he held up his emerald.

Shadow: "CHAOS CONTROL"

In an instant he was behind the reptile's head and plunged it's own blade through it's metal skull, twisting it in place.

Sonic's POV

I was in shock. Silver had use telekinesis to remove that sword from his grip only to get a freaking back hand to the face, but Shadow just pulled it out of his hand like taking it from a child.

I could see Rouge's horrified expression and then I noticed it too...... Shadow had tentacles bursting from his head.... I remember he told me about this form but.... I didn't think it would take over him like that..... ew.

Knuckles POV

Amy's POV

He did it. OH MY GOSH HE DID IT!!!

His quills look a bit... oh.... is... is it wrong I kind wanna touch them?

Rouge's POV

This idiot. Could of died. I guess I just have to make sure he takes them tonight.... ugh. He's gonna be the death of me.

Cream's POV

I had no idea why people were really scared of Mr. Shadow until today.... I know he won't hurt me but... that look in his eye... it scares me.

And Finally Silver's POV

Oh shit.

I turned to Black Doom who looked equally startled as the rest of us.

But then a warm smile appeared on his face.

 Weirdo.
