Shadow's POV

I heard a scream from the hall and felt Rose sit up. 

I decided it would be best to check it out..... kinda wish I didn't.

Sonic: "THERE YOU TWO ARE! YOUR MANIAC OF A BROTHER BIT SILVER!!!"

Silver: "It really doesn't hurt that bad Sonic."

Sonic: "He probably needs a rabies shot or something!!!"

Silver: "Again... it's fine. I'm okay, it was an accident anyways."

Sonic: "You need to talk to him!!!"

Silver: "I already did, he apologized. Sonic is just being dramatic."

I sighed and Rose sleepily wrapped her arms around me, leaning on me for support.

Rouge: "How was your nap sleepy head?~"

Me: "It was nice... actually."

I gave Rouge a nod, and she returned it with a smile.

Rouge: "I'm glad... you gave me quite a scare back there."

Me: "Nothing we don't know how to handle thankfully though."

She giggled and clung to Knuckles' arm.

Knuckles: "....Why was Amy wi- OW!"

I saw the Echidna hold his side as my sly friend gave him an innocent look... weird.

Me: "What?"

Rouge shot him a look and smiled at me... again.... weird.

Rouge: "Nothing, hun. Just focus on being ready for your mission."

Shit I forgot about that.

Me: "Yeah, you mean our mission. Your coming too."

She laughed.

Rouge: "I know silly, but I am more worried about you right now."

I rolled my eyes, she know I don't mean anything by it. I heard Rose giggle.

Amy: "You and Rouge are just like siblings."

Me: "Hard not to be when we depend on each other to survive all the time... and she digs into my business all the time."

I shot her a look with the last statement to which she rolled her eyes in return.

Rouge: "Just looking out for you sweetie."

Why does she always give such random pet names?

Black Doom POV

Eclipse was sitting on the examination table getting his mouth checked.

Me: "Well?"

Olivia: "Like I said before. He's fine. Just a small scratch from when he fell. Good thing that silver kid was there to catch him.... even if he got bit in the process."

Eclipse: "I really didn't mean to bite him T^T"

Me: "I know."

Apparently he fell from the balcony and landed mouth first on the hedgehog while screaming.... Well he said he fell but he also said it felt like he got shoved..... I am going to need to look into this.

Olivia: "How is the new guy adjusting?"

Me: "He isn't new."

She shot me a look.

Olivia: "Like hell he isn't! He hardly knows what's going on here!!"

Me: "He was born here, Olivia. He just... needs to remember."

Olivia: "Well he better hurry, enough people have died already and I will not let you send these boys to their death bed while you cower here."

I sighed. Mephiles definitely knew how to pick them didn't he?

The 'loft' as they were now calling it was filled with an assortment of furniture similar to mobius houses.... probably was set up for us now that I think about it.

Heh. He actually put though into making us comfortable.... making me.... comfortable....... why do I feel sick?
