Chapter 11

Shadow's POV

I could not believe this..... they are all coming with me.

I could feel Memphis' eyes looking at me as I grabbed my stuff from my room, Rose following closely. Her presence... calms me.

Amy: "Are you okay? Do you need any help?'

I pulled her into my arms and rest my head on top of hers, inhaling her scent.

She giggled as I began to nuzzle against her, my scent mixing with hers.

Amy: "Hehe, Shady."

Me: "All I need is for you to promise me you'll be safe."

She turned around, removing herself from my embrace.... and smiled.

Amy: "I promise."

She held up her pinky finger and I happily accepted it... with a small chuckle.

Amy: "What?"

Me: "You are too adorable for this world... you know that right?"

My Rose blushed as she looked back at her things... trying to ignore the hand I had on her back...

Amy: "Sh-Shadow."

She hid her face with her hands as I pulled her back into my arms.

Memphis: "Awwww.... I thought Eclipse said you two were just friends."

I forgot that guy was even in here.

Me: "Well now we're not...."

It was then that I noticed concern in his green eyes...

Memphis: "What.... what happened to your tail?"

I was confused.

Me: "It's always been this way."

Sonic's POV

Me: "Okay everybody pack up!! We are meeting by the woods!"

Everybody (Minus Shadamy and Memphis): Yes Sir!"

Cream: "Tails!" 

Tails face lit up as he ran to hug her..

aw.

Tails: "Hey cream!"

Silver: "Hey Sonic can I borrow you for a moment?"

Me: "Uh yeah, sure Silv."

I nodded at Tails with a grin and I saw his face heat up. Hehe.

We walk a little apart from everybody.

Silver: "Have you seen Shadow?"

Me: "Yeah he's with Ames I think....?"

Did he really just want to ask me where Shads is???

Silver: "And that is?"

Me: "Room 114?"

Silver: "Thanks Sonic!"

And with that he left me..... what the heck just happened?

Silver's POV

Gotta find him... Quick!

Blaze: "Silver!"

...Shadow can wait.

I flew down next to the beautiful cat as she smiled at me.

Blaze: "Where are you going in such a hurry?"

I pulled Blaze into a hug and told her my plan.

She sighed.

Blaze: "You think it'll work?"

Silver: "Even if it's not him I need to be sure we have a back up."

I felt her bury her face into my chest before she kissed me. I smiled as I returned her affections. It had been two years since we started dating... and I can't help but think this was the best decision I ever made... Thanks to Sha-

Me: "Oh Shit! Shadow!"

I blushed while running, not from exhaustion, but because I could hear Blaze laughing behind me.

When I made it to the room I knocked four times and waited.

Shadow opened the door. 

Shadow: "Silver?"

Me: "We need to talk."

Sonic: "Dude.... I told you where he was ten minutes ago."

Me: "I got preoccupied okay?!"

Shadow (thankfully) shoved Sonic away and stepped out, leading me to the next room over.

Shadow: "I see... you think it'll work?"

That was too close.

He smiled as he pat my head.... there are time I wonder if he knew or not.

Shadow: "Well if we want this to work... we're gonna need more guns."
