Chapter 29

Amy's POV

I pulled Shadow down the corridor towards our room.

Shadow: "Rose, where are we going?"

Me: "Well...."

I stopped outside our door.

Me: "I thought you could use some rest."

I gripped his arm tighter, alerting him he was not getting a choice in this.

I watched the confusion turn to realization in his ruby eyes... so prett-

NOT NOW AMY!!!

I opened the door and pulled him in, closing the door behind us.

Shadow: "Rose..."

Me: "I know your probably against this idea but I know you need rest!"

Shadow: "Rose..."

I heard his voice closer behind me but I began to get the bed ready.

Me: "I will not take any arguments mister! You need some sleep."

Shadow: "Amy."

I turned around only to be met with a face of chest fur and his arms wrapping around me.

I looked up to see a small smile.

Shadow: "I am only going to relax if your here with me, my Rose."

I felt his lips on my forehead, gentle and soft.

I squeaked as he scooped me up and placed me on the bed.

Shadow: "Your so cute, you know that?"

He face nuzzled against my neck. 

My face began to heat up as he buried himself deeper into me, slowly climbing into bed beside me. Was this actually happening?! I remember that night in the hotel....

Shadow: "Now where were we?"

He climbed on top of me and peppered my face with kisses holding me close.

Shadow: "Amy...."

Me: "Sh-Shadow?"

I looked into his eyes..... he was smiling.... oh shit his fangs were sharp.

Shadow leaned down towards me, and playfully nipped my ear.

Me: "Shadow!?"

My face was beet red at this point as he chuckled.

Shadow lifted me up into his lap and held me.

I felt.... disappointed? I thought for sure he was gonna try to do something...

Instead I was resting my head on his chest, he was purring. It was... peaceful.

He cuddled closer, pulling me into his arms as he laid beside me.

Oh Chaos this boy is going to be the death of me.

Rouge POV

I wonder how long it's gonna take for Amy to realize just how innocent that boy's mind is...

Now don't get me wrong Shadow can be a completely ruthless killer when needed... but when it come to well that he is as clueless as an infant.

It's honestly adorable once on realizes it. I used to flirt with him and make very suggestive jokes and he wouldn't even bat an eye. It is seriously the most precious shit ever to see how confused he gets.

I turned to my red boyfriend.

Me: "Soooo Knuckie, wanna do dinner tonight?"

Knuckles: "Don't we do dinner.... every night?"

I take back what I said about Shadow being clueless.

Sonic: "Hey, Rouge. How long has Shadow.... ya know...."

Me: "Liked Amy?"

Blue nodded his head. I swear if he gets in the way we might have a missing person sign up soon.

Me: "Well since he's met her actually. I don't know how, but that girl has him wrapped around her little finger."

Sonic gave me a shocked expression.

Me: "What? You really didn't know? He's SO OBVIOUS!!!"

And that was the truth. Anytime the others wanted to drag the poor ebony into something and failed miserably, Amy would succeed without even batting an eye. Shadow fell hard and fast, and I support him completely.

Sonic: "I never noticed..."

Me: "Yeah no shit Sherlock."

Silver and Blaze walked into the loft area we decided to make out hangout spot.

Silver: "Is it me or is Eclipse sick in the head?"

Sonic: "Eh, you'll get used to it. You good?"

The couple exchanged a look.

Blaze: "Eclipse just bit him."
