Chapter 35

Shadow's POV

Me: "So he.... he took the hell father put you two through.... for me?"

Eclipse: "... not.... exactly Shadow. When Chaos gave you that energy through the master emerald.... father was going to send you to stay with the echidnas."

Knuckles: "Why?"

Eclipse:  "Ever hear of the term 'chaos poisoning'?"

I stiffened. Shocked by what I was hearing.

Eclipse: "When Memphis forced you to take his place, despite knowing you were going to-"

His voice broke off as he shook. Thinking of what he thought would have happened.

Me: "but I didn't."

I put my hand on his shoulder.

Me: "I am right here."

Eclipse: "You almost weren't."

I felt eyes on me, questions I wish I had answers to as well.... but those are the things of the past.

Silver: "Honestly I thought it would be WAYYYY harder to kill that guy anyways."

Me: "SILVER!!!"

Sonic: "Yeah to be honest Shad's you made him out to be a lot tougher than he was...."

Me: "I WAS THE ONE FIGHTING HIM ASSHOLE!!!"

The three of us began to fight in some sort of play-wrestle, in the end I just grabbed their ears until they begged for mercy.

Silver: "SORRY SORRY"

Sonic: "PLEEEASE LET US GO!!"

I dropped them with a smirk before looking back to Eclipse.

He smile evilly.

Me: "What are yo-OOMPH"

He jumped on me, tackling me to the ground in a hug.

I soon felt the two other idiots join him.

The others were sent to look around while me and Eclipse would check to see if the ship was still functional. It seemed fine on the outside, so, personally, I wasn't that worried.

In the ship hanger, I noticed a letter with my name on it. I picked it up it said,

Hey Dorka-saur,

Olivia here. Just wanted to thank you in advance. I remember still the day you were dragged into space hell with me on the Ark... heh. Feels like old times don't it... Why am I writing a stupid- oh for get it. I just wanted to ask you if you could please, PLEASE, take care of her. My daughter. Her name is Skylar, she's one and a half. I know you may want some... distance with this family but.... I don't want her to grow up on this hell hole.... I went from one space prison right to the next. I want her to have a normal, happy life Shadow. Please do this for me. When I met your brother, I had no intentions of being with him... but he changed me. For better or worse I still don't know yet, but I do know that when I met him, he was the sweetest man to exist. He helped me in my lowest and protected me. I love his Shadow... which is why I know he isn't the man I love anymore. He's been losing control. I don't want my daughter to suffer through the same shit we've been through. Thanks in advance ass hat~
