Chapter 19 (Silver's Fate Hidden Past/Weapon)

(A/N okay so there was a tie so I am combining them)

Silver's POV

I sat there staring at them.... waiting for one false move... 

Shadow: "Silver...."

Me: "Hmm?"

Shadow handed me a plate with some what normal looking food, it smelled good.

Shadow: "Eat this, I didn't see you eat anything and you'll need you strength."

Me: "Thanks...."

I watched him walk away..... 

I remember the day he found me.....

Me: "Mama!?"

I was only about six at the time.....

Running through a burning forest...

A tree fell in front of me and behind... I can still hear that wicked laugh...

Then he showed up, saving me from that final tree....

Shadow.

Shadow: "Woah! Easy there kid.... you shouldn't be out here..."

Me: "MAMA!!!"

I struggled under his grip but he held me steady.

Shadow: "Hey.... shhh.... it's okay. We'll do our best to find her.... for now, how about you stay with us...."

Me: "Otay."

Sonic: "-Ver!! SILVER!!!"

Me: "Huh?! What?!"

Sonic: "Spaced out for a second bud, you okay?"

I looked around at the ship and felt uneasy but nodded my head anyways.... no need to worry somebody who probably has no idea anyways.

I followed everybody out, to a beautiful field.

Me: "WOAH!!!"

BD: "*chuckles* Yeah, home sweet home."

Shadow: "I do not remember ever hearing of this place...."

Memphis: "You grew up here though...?"

Shadow: "I was made on Space Colony Ark.... I have no home."

Eclipse grabbed Mephiles and walked away, obviously explaining something to him.

Shadow: "What's with the castle?"

BD: "What kind of king doesn't have a castle?"

Me: "Dead ones."

Shadow smirked while Sonic rolled his eyes.

Sonic: "Good one, but now is not the time for jokes...."

Shadow: "You literally just made four knock knock jokes like five-"

Sonic: "NOT THE TIME!"

Shadow and I shared a look. I grabbed his shoulder.

Me: "I need to tell you some-"

Sonic: "GUYS COME ON YOUR BEING SO SLO-OW UGH!!!"

Shadow: "Shut it faker!"

I watched as he removed himself to go hit Sonic... dammit.

Amy ran towards me. 

Amy: "What were you gonna say?"

Me: "I don't really have much time to tell him if this keeps up.... Oh! Amy, uh um well you see I well it's actually really funny um-"

Amy: "SHADOW!!!! SILVER NEEDS TO TALK TO YOU!!"

Shadow: "Hm?"

He dropped Sonic and came back.

Me: "Umm can we talk.... alone?"

I could feel everybody staring, even Blaze and she knows what's going on!

He nodded and the two of us went around to the back of the massive ship.

Shadow: "What is it?"

Me: "It's hard to explain but...."

I handed him a small picture frame.

He froze...

Shadow: "Is... is that me?"

It was a picture from when I was a kid, seven years old and Shadow had adopted me at that point.

Me: "Yeah, you sort of... found me.... after my mom and I escaped...."

Shadow: "Escaped from who?"

Me: "You may be the Ultimate Lifeform Shadow, but my mother was the ultimate weapon."

Shadow stared at the image, before handing it back.

Shadow: "Who was your mother?"

Silver: "She was some sort of.... failed experiment of Gerald Robotnik... in a way I guess I am your nephew.... some what. I know it's a little crazy but-"

Shadow: "I believe you."

I froze and looked at him in shock.

Me: "You do?"

He nodded.

Shadow: "Maria told me it was a miracle I was even considered a success, after all the prototypes failed.... Your mother might just still be sealed or asleep somewhere...."

Me: "Yeah... maybe."

He patted my head.

Me: "Please don't tell anybody..."

Shadow: "Hmph, I am not a snitch Silver."

I smiled as I followed him, happy he believed me. Also somewhat relieved he did not attack me and accuse me of lying.... he scares me a bit T^T
