I sat with the kid a bit longer... I couldn't help it. He kept calling me dad.... felt weird... until I told him that is...
Me: "Ummm.... Silver?"
Silver: "Hm?"
Me: "Why do you keep calling me... Dad?"
His face went cherry red, he looked away and hid his hands in his face... kinda like Rose... oh. OH. OH MY CHAOS!!
I guess he saw my face because now he looked scared.
Silver: "Promise me you won't tell!"
Me: "If you answer me this..."
Silver: "Depends on the-"
Me: "Rose is your mother... isn't she?"
Silver was dead silent as he looked at me in shock
Silver: "HOW DID YOU-"
Me: "I pay attention to behaviors."
My own face burned a little but I didn't mind.
