Shadow's POV

I fucking called that shit..... 

Sonic: "Hey Shads!"

Me: "What?"

Sonic: "What were you an Silv talking about?"

Me: "None of your concern."

Like hell I am telling him this.

Memphis suddenly hugged me from behind.

Me: "Hey! GET OFF!"

He was not letting go.... and Eclipse is now hugging me..

Amy: "Umm I wouldn't hug him like that-"

Me: "Chaos-

Me: "Ow"

I shot Rose a look.

She just giggled and kissed my forehead.

Amy: "I just didn't want you to get hurt in a fight."

I stiffened and felt my face burn as she pulled my into a hug.

I liked her embraces-

Eclipse: "WHY DOES SHE GET TO HUG YOU?!"

Memphis: "I shared a womb with the asshole and he still acts like I'm a stranger..."

Me: "How stupid are these two- wait what did you just say?"

My head snapped away from Rose to look at Memphis.

Memphis: "You.... you really don't remember anything... do you?"

He sounded sad.... why does that make me upset?

Eclipse: "Told you... he remembers shit."

BD: "Which only a small part of why he is here."

I turned my head to see him looking sadly at me... I didn't need his pity.

Me: "What are you all going on about?"

I snarled at them. I hated this. Being in the dark.... just like always...

BD: "Welcome home son...."

He grabbed my shoulders and and made me look at the massive castle. It's spires seemed to touch the skies and it's doors massive and red..... it felt.... familiar to say the least.

The spires and stone bricks seemed navy blue, and the tiles were also red..... it was beautiful...

Me: "Woah..."

Amy: "His home is with us!"

I held back a laugh, she is so cute....

BD: "His home is with his family!"

Amy: "YOU TRIED TO KILL HIM!!"

BD: "YOUR NOT HIS FAMILY!!"

Eclipse: "It's normal for siblings to fight."

They both looked at Eclipse... confused.

I was just kinda startled this many people actually wanted me around....

Rouge: "His home is with his family... and his family is team dark."

I felt her grab my shoulder and glare at the two.

Rouge: "He gets to choose where he wants to stay... not you."

I looked between the three of them and shrugged.

Me: "Hmph.... I never really chose from the start Rouge... you kinda kidnapped me and took me home..."

Rouge: "Keyword there hun, HOME."

I will never win an argument with this woman will I?

The corridors shone a brilliant gold, the tiles beneath a deep gray and the walls were a stunning white. Pillars of gold reflecting against the light, everything glowing from them. The curtains were a deep satin red and there was armor of all shapes around us.

I felt at ease, weirdly enough, in these halls. Soldiers walked by... mobians, darklings, even black hawks flew by!

I was in awe.

Sonic: "What are those things?"

I turned to Blue... slightly annoyed at his stupidity...

Me: "Hawks... they are often ridded...."

Sonic: "They freak me out."

I saw him shudder as another stepped by... I felt oddly comforted when the passed...

Amy: "Your wings look just like theirs...."

I blushed lightly as I felt he touch my back....

Me: "Yeah...  I am still a member of the black arms so I guess I am a bit of a freak of nature myself..."

Amy: "I think your adorable."

She grabbed my and whispered to me... my heart is seriously going to rip out of my chest if this keeps up....

Images of that night played in my head.... I never want to let her go... her giggles as I nuzzled closer... Holding her..... her laughs and smell....

Amy: "You okay?"

Me: "This all feels.... oddly familiar..."

She looked at me confused but gave my hand a comforting squeeze.

Amy: "I'm here if you need me."

Me: "Thank you."

I kissed the top of her head and squeezed her hand back.

Silver: "Awwww."
