hey guys! bk here. this is the 1k reads/5k reads/probably 10k reads now (ty again!!) special! just a short lil q&a with some questions you all (by you all, i mean one cool person) asked! again, tysm for all the support, it truly does mean a lot to me :]

Q) what's your favorite food/snack?
A) i don't have one! i'm very picky and none of the foods i do eat really stand out to me xD

Q) what's your favorite game?
A) at the moment it's roblox (no specific game), although if i did ever take the time to reinstall minecraft (long story lmao) that'd probably take its place

Q) what are your pronouns/gender?
A) i'm a guy and go by he/they!

Q) what is your favorite animal?
A) i can't decide between dogs and praying mantises lol

Q) what's your favorite show/movie?
A) when i was younger i used to watch teen titans/octonauts nonstop, however i don't really watch tv shows anymore (i prefer youtube) and i was never a movie person :')

Q) what is/was your favorite subject in school?
A) this probably isn't surprising, but ela (reading/writing). history and science are close seconds!

that's all for the requested questions- shoutout to @Doxo3564 for being the only person to ask! anyways i'm going to ask myself some questions about the book just because i feel like i need to share that info lol.

Q) is there a set canon for this book?
A) no, not really! you're free to interpret what may have happened and what didn't. i'd say the only true canon things are my headcanons.

Q) when does this book take place?
A) that's also up to interpretation, but the time period is close to ours, although the seasons may be different.

Q) how can i write like you?
A) i'm really not being humble asking this one, but i want to share some (informal) tips for y'all :')

- read books. you can find inspiration for new ideas, cool vocabulary, writing techniques, etc. take what you like and incorporate those elements into your work! i personally prefer fiction and fanfiction (especially the stuff on ao3)
- research. if you're writing about a topic you don't know much about, i highly suggest you ask questions! ask someone you know, search stuff up on google, be old-fashioned and look through your local library, whatever! it helps keep your story accurate and you also learn new things.
- expand your vocabulary. if you find you keep repeating the same words over and over (ex. said) i recommend searching for similar words on google! pick whatever fancy words you need, it helps add detail to your work.
- music. i don't just say this because it's nice to listen to- lyrics can be great inspiration and often contain cool little things you could include in writing (ex: metaphors). it's also highly motivational in my opinion.

i can't think of anything else i really want to tell you guys, so for now this'll be it. once again, thank you for your continued support :]
