Wassal's POV:

She wasn't even looking at me, and I was getting out of control. It had been two days!

What I did? just kissed her, Was it my fault that the candles were blown out and she was looking irresistibly beautiful in candlelight? No!

From my seat at the table, I watched her every move. She ate quietly, eyes fixed on her plate, lost expression as if I wasn't even there.

I felt like the edge of bursting like a volcano when she stayed quiet, I loved silence before I became addicted to her voice, the way she told me her daily routine, the way she explained the special events of the day in a fully thrilled to me, I was addicted to this routine, although it only last for a few days.

I knew she didn't love me, but I did...

I wasn't able to hold out anymore, I hate it when she ignores me. I tried to initiate a conversation in many ways but she was ignoring me.

"When is your result coming out" I asked, starting from a new edge.

She turned towards me and replied, "At the end of the month"

"Good," I nodded.

"So, when is your test?" I inquired.

"It's this week, Thursday," She replied.

"How are your preparations" I inquired,

"They are good," she answered.

It was getting back to the old days, An interrogation! where one questions and the other answers,

I will not let our relationship collapse again!

I finished my breakfast, placed a kiss on her head and left.

..............................................

"Dilawar stop the car!" I ordered.

he did as I said, "Sir is there any problem?" He asked.

"I want you to do something, Dilawar!" I said in a calm voice.

"Yes sir, what is it?" He asked, ready to do anything.

............................................................

When I walked into the house, I was leaning heavily on Dilawar for support. She was in the kitchen, her back to us, busy with something on the counter. As she turned around with a plate of muffins, her eyes fell on me, and her expression changed instantly. The color drained from her face, and the plate slipped from her hands, crashing to the floor.

"Wassal!" she cried out, rushing towards me.

"What happened to you?" She asked in a pure concerned voice, her eyes were getting teary.

"Sahab ka accident howa hai" Dilawar told her, as he helped me settle on the sofa.

She looked at me with fret evident on her face, "Ye kia howa ap koi?" She questioned in a trembling voice watching the bandage on my head.

"It's nothing, just a small accident," I said.

Dilawar was the most reliable person, to whom I trusted with all my secrets, his father was Baba's loyal, and he was mine, since my childhood. When I joined the office he became my secretary, and never betrayed me.

I wanted to ask him to hit me as needed, but I knew he wouldn't agree besides what reason would I tell him of doing this insane thing? seeking my wife's attention?

At last, I asked all of them to stay aside while I got into the car frustration drove fast and hit an abandoned corner on the road a little far. I knew there would not be many injuries as there was much safety in the car, and the outcome was good. It didn't hurt much, but it was enough to get her attention.
