Wassal's POV:
The moment she pointed out my statement about Snaia Api, tea choked in my throat, I barely managed to maintain my expression. Keeping my nerves calm, I confirmed I did. But when she told Sania, Api explained to her the anxiety issues. I felt blank. I did tell her that shinaya doesn't know anything about that case, but still, why did she mention that issue?
It probably happened because I didn't tell her that I lied about her anxiety.
It took me a moment to generate a cover-up up but I did.
"Anxiety? Asmtha and anxiety are almost the same, aren't they?" I asked innocently in a confused tone. She scowled, "No!" she said out of disbelief. "Anxiety is a result of mental stress, while asthma is an allergy, " she explained. "Of course," I affirmed. "Shhh," I sounded embarrassed, rubbing my temples. "I always forget about it," I shoved with my hand.
But she?
She stared at me, "She is your sister...and you forget that she has asthma or anxiety?" She questioned suspiciously. " Yes, I do because it's confusing, " I argued. "Doctors don't use the word 'anxiety' for asthma, then where did you get that idea?" Her eyes widened as she argued back. I didn't have any more arguments for it, so I wound up saying, "Shinaya," I gave her a cold stare," I am not a doctor, it's confusing for me, and I don't think that's a big deal," I concluded. She didn't argue back, but her expression said it aloud that she was not satisfied.
Placing the cup on the table, I took my phone and, avoiding her, I went to the balcony, failing a certain number.
The very next day, I talked to Sania Api about this.
She was busy choosing jewelry for the wedding when I knocked on her door.
"Come in, I was just thinking of calling you," she appreciated my entrance. I walked inside, passing her a smile. As I sat in the opposite direction on the other edge of the bed, she asked with anticipation, " I'm so confused, which one should I choose for Baraat?" She showed me two jewelry sets. "This one seems heavy," she placed her finger on the first one. "And this one seems fine, but I'm slightly too carried, what do you think?" she asked as she glanced back at me.
With a low smile, I replied, "How would I know Api? Just wear what you like," She frowned at me. "Why wouldn't you know? Huh, remember you chose a set for shinaya, and that was outstanding," she reminded.
I parted my lips for an explanation, but her stare made me quiet. "Well, that was an exceptional case," I replied, avoiding her gaze. "Hmm, " I hear her say. "Then, at least just suggest to me what I should do between these," she requested, picking both sets. I inhaled deeply, and after having a look at both of them, I suggested the lightweight one, because I knew she wouldn't regret wearing the heavy one, even though it could be her first choice initially. "Thank you," she expressed with a smile and began to collect the rest.
I cleared my throat and started, "Api," I called. "Yes," she answered while placing the boxes in the locker. "You talked to Shinaya about that incident?" I asked, and she paused for a second. I saw her figure standing still in the position she was, after a second she placed the boxes and closed the locker. "Yes," she said as she turned around.
My nerves tightened, "How can you do that? You know I haven't told her anything about it," I tried to stay calm, but my tone was firm. She sighed, "I know, but at that time I forgot that anxiety thing slipped out..." she explained. "But..." she hesitated, glancing at me like the rest was hard to say. I matched her gaze, wishing not to hear something I don't want to.
"You need to tell her everything, if not this time, then there will be another time when she will know about that mess. You need to gain her trust. "
I sighed heavily, "You think that's easy?" I asked unbelivelingly.
